Chairs are important. Especially for sitting down and filming/editing videos. A good chair will keep you from getting tired and stiff after long periods.

Hi, Reney - nice to "meet" you! I love Steinbeck but I haven't read the two shorter ones you have there yet. SO many books waiting on my shelves to be read!! Haven't heard of Walking Home, but I like books about wilderness. My husband and I both enjoy Grisham, too :) I'm sure I read The Exchange WAY back in the day! The Stand is outstanding, though some people find that uncut version too long (that's the same one we have). You might try the shorter (relatively speaking!) edited version. I don't read a whole lot of romance either. I like road trip novels, too! Ooh, I've been meaning to read The Nickel Boys are ages - I've heard it's difficult but worth it. This was a fun tag. It sounds like we have similar reading tastes!

I was one of them when I grew up; we didn't have much, and we didn't really celebrate Christmas because my family really couldn't -- the foundations like toys for tots that's supported by people like you really made my years as a child 💕 The toy would be the toy I sleep with, play with for years. Not sure if you've ever heard an impact of such but I wanted to share my experience with you. So long winded way of saying THANK YOU! It's people like yourself who gave joy to a little girl/boy for the holidays

I used to love Black Friday shopping, but it seems like it's gotten kind of boring in the last few years. I loved getting the paper on Thanksgiving Day and going through all the ads and planning out where I wanted to go. Now there aren't any ads in the paper anymore, and stores don't seem to have the fun sales on that day like they used to. I suppose this way people aren't getting trampled to death for a TV anymore, so it's probably for the best.

Love your tradition of present giving - I do something similar. I get as much joy from giving as I get from the presents I receive myself. Fun tag.

Love your responses, Reney, and the books that you featured. I think I told you that I had given the dachshund book by Rosenfelt to a dear friend last year. Just this week, she reached out to me and reminded me of how much she loved that book. (I know it's high up on Raina's list too.) I don’t drink much coffee but when I do, I have it with a spoonful of cocoa and half and half. I call it Chaffee. My all-time favorite Christmas book that I now read with my grandkids and kids is The Best Christmas Pageant Ever by Barbara Robinson. I believe it’s also a movie but I’ve never watched it. The book is too delicious! BTW: your Christmas hat looks adorable on you. Happy holidays!
