Petri is definately the right frontman for this band
After the dissolution of Children Of Bodom and Bodom After Midnight there was never more appropriate heir to the Bodom sound than Warmen. I love they made this choice. Great song 💙
@@dexterghoul9624 I did and I don't understand your remark. I Am Your God definitely sound like typical metal from Finland, but very far from Bodom sound. And there are no former members of COB continuing in the legacy of their previous band, which was the whole point of my comment.

Warmen was always it’s own thing that sounded separate to Bodom but hearing the two sounds fused together now is awesome. Petri is killing it in vocals. It’s great to hear Antti again, dude is a fantastic player who deserves way more attention. And how I’ve missed those Janne signature keyboard sounds. Hyped for the album 💪🏻
One thing for sure is that this wont be the joking around Warmen anymore. It will be more serious kinda music here on.😀

wow, in over 18 years I had not actually "met" anyone who even knew imperanon apart from Teemu himself! I feel like they flew way under the radar, they were fighting with the likes of bodom and norther after all.
Just glad to cross paths with someone who appreciates the music they made
@@hansherrera5321 apart from Teemu himself lmao. I've listened to Imperanon for 17 years. Bodom led me to.all of the great Suomi metal bands. I was actually just talking with Tuomas Vuorio who played for Mysore - a band that toured with Norther often. He remembers Imperanon but was not aware that Teemu now plays for Wintersun

It's like HCDR -era Bodom and TDUU -era Norther had a baby, and I'm here for it! I've long yearned for the return of the early 2000 Finnish sound to come back, and it seems in the past couple years it has, and it's come back swinging.
It sounds like a new COB song. I love it. I could cry for joy. I miss COB so much, but I feel that Warmen will be able to fill the void that I have inside. As it was written before me, I was sure that I would never hear a sound like COB again. Seriously, I'm crying now. I love you guys. Kiitos! 🖤

Exactly! I always liked their older albums, but I enjoyed songs with Alexi the most. High Heels On Cobblestone, Suck My Attitude, Somebody's Watching Me. That suited them best.
Great to have them back. Sounds like a cross between Norther and Bodom. Pure, classic no-nonsense Finnish Melodeath.

Ever since I read that Petri was joining as vocalist, I knew that this would be amazing. One of the best metal vocalists out there along with Warmens amazing music, it could only mean one thing. Such a amazing song, and I can't wait for the album to be released! 🤘
I only just discovered this band as I found out Petri had joined this band because I love Ensiferum and have dug the stuff of theirs since he has been in that band
@zonic26 Yes I really like Ensiferum too, both the earlier stuff with Jari, and the newer stuff with Petri, really great band. I just knew about Warmen trough Children of Bodom, and I know that Alexi Laiho have done vocals on at least two of their songs in the past. Besides that I haven't listened to Warmen that much, but that's about to change now 🤘
Lindroos sounds crisp and evil at the same time, love his vocals. Every word is distinct. Next life for COB and Norther! Very cool!

i cant believe Warmen + petri have come with such a beautifull catchy old schoolly melodic death song that remind earlier Bodom, norther..
The jimmy dee sound in the beggining and the main melody give instant bodom feels (reminds hate me, bastard of bodoms, needled 24/7)
Chorus is a mix between COB/Norther.
the first verse remind COB - Under grass and clover first verse also
the solos are Warmen are good.
the expectation are high from that new lineup and i hope that they continue in this way to keep COB legacy alive.
