    One of the advantages you can't dismiss that Takeoka has is that he trains at the same company that Abe does. I'd be shocked if Abe didn't assist in the preparation that led to Takeoka beating Maruyama.
    It also wouldn't surprise me if Abe has been helping Takeoka prepare for this competition.

    Shavdatuashvilli's saving grace is his endurance and O Uchi Gari. He's great in golden score and can always medal

    I may be wrong but i didn’t hear manual get said. think lombardo should get a mention for -73kg. His last win against lavrentev was impressive especially considering the escape in the newaza.
