Oh Galore ! Haha , you said it 😊. Another good and honest video . Your ancestors did "reach out" to other Europeans 😅. The part of England where I was born used to be held by the Norsemen , there are many Viking placenames . And DNA ! Perhaps that's why I like riding in the wild and woolly north of Canada , which is very similar to Norway ( and lots of expat Norwegians live here too by the way ). You learn about motorcycle gear the hard way . But let me shorten the "learning curve " a little for you. Goretex - expensive but good . No need to pack and unpack rain gear . Ventilated is awesome . Electric heated jacket and gloves . Heated grips , Oxford are excellent . Waterproof boots , always . Comfort is everything and to be warm is to be safe ( quicker reflexes ). The coloured water is due to "glacial flour " , tiny rock particles suspended in the water which reflect light in various ways . As the water flow slows down , the particles sink and colour changes to a deeper green . It's very spectacular . Ride safe , ride far.
Thank you for another great video, Thomas. I feel like I'm there with you. The scenery on your ride was so beautiful. That green water was something. As with your other videos, the music that accompanies the videos is excellent. Keep those videos coming - there are lots of us from many countries (in this case, the U.S.) who enjoy them.
Thanks again for sharing your adventure. Great soundtrack. It’s so inspiring to watch. I can’t wait until I can do the same where I am. I did just take the family on a four day tent camping trip to Lake Tahoe. Not on a bike obviously but it was grand and beautiful. Enjoying this beautiful planet God gave us is a blessing for sure!
Thank you for the nice comment! 🙏👍😊 Glad to hear you're inspired. Lake Tahoe has been a dream destination for me, ever since I saw that movie with Nicholas Cage and Meg Ryan hehe
Brilliant video Thomas. Really enjoyed this. We've all made the same mistakes wearing the wrong biking clothes - it's all part of the learning experience! Keep up the great work! 👍
Fin video. Tak!
Thanks for showing Norway. I am from the Netherlands with a Tenere 700. I should go on a trip by bike. Wish I aslo had the mindset that it is oké not being fully prepared.
My pleasure and thank you for the nice comment! 🙏👍🙏 I was bogged down in planning and worries for a while. In the end I just went with what I had. It worked out 😁👍🏍️🎉 you can do it too!
Takk for hyggelig kommentar, Eva!
I found your channel a few weeks ago. It was a video of you looking for a new bike. I honestly didn't think you would go for the Tenere. Great to see every place you take it. I have a Tenere myself, mostly for offroad, and it's awesome. But tomorrow i have a ride planned on a Tracer 9 GT. Really looking forward to see how they compare. If they are even comparable at all. Keep up your great video's!
Welcome aboard! 🙏👍😊 To be honest, the Tenere surprised me too. On that day I expected the Tracer7 or 9 to be my next bike. I felt the Tracer9 was a bit heavy and lacked legroom. Let me know what you think 👍 And thank you 🙏👍
Put some fuel in the tank, throw a bag on the bike and get the hell outa Dodge! Haha, nice to see you back on the road Thomas. It looks beautiful up there.
Fin video.
You should! That camping cabin (no wc or shower) was about 80 dollars. Hotel room is about 150. In that cafe the cheapest thing on the menu was soup 🍲 at about 20 dollars 😁
@@TalkTheRide BTW, today I got my first speeding ticket. We have Labor Day long weekend and highway patrol cars are swarming the streets in so called "maximum enforcement mode" I got lucky... In a way, as I was not going too fast at the moment and after nice little chat the officer wrote me minimum citation (lower speed than I was going), so, yeah. If not for maximum enforcement I would've ended up with a warning
Love these videos .appreciate the time and effort you put into them .. they are very well edited . And always show positivity
Thank you, Dave! 🙏👍😊 It means a lot. I do put a lot of work into them, there's so much to learn and improve. I love that process!

I really enjoy your videos! Youre humble and just enjoying life on your motorcycle with a good portion of humor! Keep it up bro!
Glad you like them! More videos coming next year 👍🙏🎉
I felt the cold through the screen! Nice adventure and great to watch, as always 🙏
Thank you, Peter! 🙏😊👍 Yeah, it was a rough ride in places 😁. Gotta get some proper clothes for next season 🏍️
Nice video mate! Relaxing music and beautiful nature :)

Takk for hyggelig melding! 🙏👍😊

💯 Sometimes you just gotta! It was awesome up there, minus the monsun 👍
Thanks for taking me along. Enjoyed it very much. May I suggest hand warmers as your next mod to the Pelican. Very nice bike.

Takk, Wilhelm! 🙏👍 Nydelig område å kjøre i, må tilbake dit neste år.
Awseome channel "the naked biker" undressed, prestigeless content, lovely. You really forward good energy with your content.
Keep up the good work 👏
Thank you for the kind words, John! 🙏👍😊 I do appreciate the positive feedback 👍
Må skaffe meg noe, blei blaut igjen i dag!
Makes me want to have a few weeks vacation in Norway... You said it's expensive. How much? The cafe you mentioned, hotel room you stayed?

Maximum Enforcement Mode sounds very ominous 😄
