Pets never sell well for me. Just because something is 150g doesn’t mean you’ll actually sell it. I don’t think the average person cares much about collecting pets.
True, a specific pet gets listed on my server for 1k but it seems to never sell. I even got a couple to try and sell and I've been competitive yet holding them for weeks.
@@CAS89 who said anything about gathering? If you buy a whole category, let’s say herbs from the auction house. And resell them for effectively 30 silver profit each, you sell roughly 3 items for 1 gold profit? Am I not getting anything here?
I do the fishing daily on 5 toons. I get an average of 1 waterlogged recipe every 2 days. Super nice. Got 2 in one day yesterday. The Azure problem is all the pplnusimg tam and auctioneer.
The Vial of Poison (also a fishing daily reward that starts a quest) sells for like 120g on my server too. I think people buy them to turn in for XP and KT rep
I honestly have no idea but a few weeks ago for a laugh I went to the pet vendor in Dalaran and bought one of each and listed them at insane markups (market related ofcourse) to my surprise they all sold. Bought new ones and listed them, same story. It makes me around 3k a week with 0 effort.
I doubt pets sell very well. The exception being the time limited ones, since the markup is so huge. You should expect to wait at least a few weeks for it to offload, in my experience.
I would *definitely* not buy dozens of boxes of pets that are not time limited… even if it’s tied to DMF week, anyone interested in buying the pet can just wait.
Darkmoon faire is every month so who would even buy one on AH. I would think that people would be buying the items you can donate to the faire though - who wants to go and farm small furry paws right?
Do you buy saronite to prospect and then resell the uncut gems? Is that how you’re doing it? I’m in dire need of gold and have been prospecting saronite but spending the gems leveling my JC.
@@beachdaddybravo6751 Yes, buying tons of saronite and prospecting it will make lots of money. You need to start with about 400g though, or it won't be worth it. You're really looking for red gems, which are about 60-70g a piece on my server. If you don't find any red gems, them you will most likely lose money. Another very quick and easy flip is tin ore, you make about 1.8x profit, vs saronite of about 1.4x. Same thing, prospect the tin and sell the gems. Shadowgems goes for about 9g, aquamarine and moss agate go for about 14g each. The cost to prospect tin is about7g/5 on my server.
Pretty stupid if you ask me to change jc tolkens for dragon eyes and sell that. Then rather check what gems there sell and buy the recipes and sell gems in ah.

Cuz the pets are truly not that rare as they say and the people that can afford them most likely play enough to find themselves.
I used to flip these pets back in the day and made a ton. Haven't tried it in classic though.

prolly sold a ton of items that only gave a couple silver / counted items in the stack such a a stack of 20 cloth instead of calling it 1 item
It can definately make sense. If you buy a lot of items you often make a gamble.
So some are profitable while others might not be.

Laziness and convenience. If im trying to powerlevel a profession, im not trying to spend time traveling and collecting recipes.
