It is shocking Country Cupboard closed down, but I still like Lewisburg, PA. Although it seems parts of downtown and some of their churches are very far to the left. I lived in southern California for 33 years and this even surprised me.
Ok...I can't even finish the video without jumping on & saying...you are in my hometown .... this is unbelievable!!! I have a home in Selinsgrove...and Lewisburg is our favorite little town. I love the Street of Shops, Bucknell Barnes and Noble, Bucknell, Mays Drive-In....I just can't believe this. Now, Im starting to wonder if we know each other...its just so coincidental. Ok...Im going back to watching the video...eekk😉
WHAT??!! I didn't realize that! I went to Susquehanna University, so I know (& love) Selinsgrove. Seriously, Erica - it is crazy how much we have in common! :) Funny that you mentioned Mays too! We keep showing up in places you are familiar with - too funny!
To Wander Freely well, my daughter is applying there as we write...how funny!! I will be home in a few weeks for a visit...we should run into each other😉
Jen, I'm definitely noticing continued improvements in the HD quality of your videos. This one was uploaded in 1080P too. ;-) NICE! Pretty town. Will definitely stop by for a visit if I ever travel out there. :-)
Good to hear from you, Lance! And thanks for the encouragement. I know that you are interested in seeing the Fall colors some day, and I hope that works out for you!
Obrigado por essas belas imagens! Adoramos conhecer mais sobre Lewisburg. Estará em nosso roteiro turístico com certeza. Abraços de Betim - Minas Gerais/Brasil 😀
Love your video's! My wife and I used to live in Middleburg, PA, I'm sure you know where that is. I wish that we could live as you folk's do. Keep it up!
Thanks so much for the encouragement! We love Middleburg! I went to school at Susquehanna, and Chris is a PSU grad - so we traveled through Middleburg often to visit each other (well, he visited me - I didn't have a car :). Glad you are joining us!
a beautiful video, i grew up in the midwest, this could have been shot in Michigan Indiana Illinois Ohio etc, but the beauty is the homes and the pride they show, thanks for sharing. (if you haven't purchased your RV THERE YET, you need to do it, (we got ours this week and it is absolutely awesome!!!)
"WOW!" I just love the colors of Autumn. As we are from a tropical region, we just don't get to experience the changes of the seasons like that. So we would enjoy some more footage, please. Safe travels to you both.
The movie "Hello or High Water" being shown at the University Theater was filmed nearby! Here in New Mexico - even though the movie says it's Texas. Really enjoyed seeing the the fall beauty of PA.
Hey you two! :) I've been super busy and now am trying to catch up on your videos. Glad to see you in PA. My acoustic group, Sonorous, is playing some winery gigs these next few weeks. let me know if you are interested in attending.
ABSOLUTELY!!! We have been thinking of you now that we are back, and we still continue to receive such nice compliments on your work for our theme song. Send me the dates & locations when you get a chance - either here or thru email towanderfreely@gmail.com. Thanks, Kevin! Looking forward to meeting you and thanking you in person!
The people in lewisburg r salt of the earth kinda people amish mennonite and other regular people so to speak. I fi d a good amount if people friendly also
Okay time for some REAL TRUTH about Lewisburg; 1) homes are kept up very well, much nicer than places like Danville, pa 2) Sad truth- the ONLY reason Lewisburg economically does well enough to stay out of SEVERE economic trouble is because enough people work at Bucknell Univ. and Lewisburg Federal penitentiary(MAJOR YUK!!!) are the ONLY MAJOR employers in the WHOLE Borough. 3) These 2 aren't even informed enough to know; one of the MOST FAMOUS and WELL liked pro baseball players -- Christy Mathewson is buried at at Lewisburg cemetary(next to Bucknell, where he went to school!!!), He is in the FIRST class to be inducted into the Baseball hall of fame!! ------ This is REALLY Lewisburgs POSITIVE claim to something!!! It is really a quiet little borough with not much happening( except when a convict tries to escape)
Thank you for your video of my hometown that I left 60 years ago. It certainly has retained it's integrity! A place of my best memories!

Glad you can appreciate it, Jack! I think we do have more coming soon - those colors don't last long, so we have to soak them up! :)
@@ToWanderFreely u like Lewisburg
Hi, I am a new subscriber. Beautiful little town I have visited there many times. I live an hour away.
Hi, there! Thanks for joining us! We lived in the Williamsport area before hitting the road.
Can't believe I haven't been to Lewisburg! Kinda reminds me of Lititz, PA.
Yes, they are kind of similar! Two of my favorite PA towns!
I grew up in Lewisburg, I used to hate it growing up, but after moving away I realized how awesome it was!
Thank you! Very helpful

Thanks for sharing that Sharon! The fall is a special time here (it's just the winter that follows that it is not so enticing :)! lol
