Adonis just popped into my mind and so I looked him up. Glad to see he is doing well.
Same!!! I was thinking of great fighters that had that one punch knockout power and amongst the list was superman and I too am glad he’s doing well💪

i was a big fan of adonis and i was so sad of what happened to him. im happy he recovered.
He speaks clearly despite the accident, even considering french/hatian creole is his native language.

Im not trying to be negative but CTE usually really catches up to you around the age of 50. Thats when they start slurring their words and their brain starts dying.

Loved this guy. Stayed up until 4am everytine this guy was on UK TV. Absolute beast of a fighter, fought too early at 40+ after that Jack war.

I know this is old but I'm glad I found this. Glad to see him doing well and that he acknowledges that God saw him through this. He was something special in the ring. The left hand was a bomb

I remember the fight and today I happen to see a highlight of one of his fights and I wanted to check to see how he was doing. I remember I was so worried about what had happened to Adonis. I'm so grateful to see this video and yes sometimes God performs divine intervention for a good reason I'm just so glad to see that he's talking he's in good health thank you Lord.

Very glad he's doing well and he's very lucky, not many boxers recover fully, or wake up again after any injury like that. Adonis Stevenson has always been in fun fights, one of the best Canada's ever produced.
Hope that Adonis makes a full recovery.

@@paleo704 He's alive and seemingly in good condition. Going back in the ring would be tempting fate. He pulled through but his career is dead, as it should be.
The worst of this is his ex wife stole most of his money. He’s pretty much broke (that’s what I heard. It’s not proof )

Wow, glad to see he is MUCH more recovered than most who suffer similar injuries at least in terms of speech and communication. Kovalev was the man in the division, but Stevenson was a very close second imo

It’s the bad part but reality in this sport. You really do put your life on the line every time you get in the ring. No matter the opponent.
Has Stevenson gone back to his profession he participated in around 2012? Has he done any more jailtime.
There are very few boxers if any who come out of a medically induced coma after having had a brain bleed. He should thank God again and again
Pretty sure Aidos Yerbossynuly had a similar issue and just came out of his induced coma.
Either way, you can tell Adonis is taking and behaving a little different here so the effects are obvious. I hope he is content at the moment. One of my favorite 76/200 fighters in a long tie.

I'm on an Adonis Stevenson fight binge, starting with him knocking Tony Bellew senseless. This came up on the search and I had to watch and see he is muchg much better than what I thought he was. I hope his trifling wife ain't do him too dirty

Happy he's ok but glad he's out of boxing. He avoided unifying all the belts in his division. He was happy just to have one belt like wilder was. Boxing needs one champion per weight class.
that was his decision and it dont matter to have a unified belt holder to me. he could also kept boxing without being the champ. honestly his health is more important than boxing anyway. good to see him getting better. thats the most important thing.

Even if he would be the badest man on the planet, God gives him a second and another chance to rebuild himself and change the way he lives i to the right path of life and Faith. Im Polish So i can not write it propably the same as in Holy Bible but this sentence is the best to prove it how you and all the people should think: "dont forgive 7 Times but 77 Times every People". 7 is Holy symbol of infinity. So it means that you shouldnt forgive 7 Times but every single time

And besides every crimes he commited, he was and will always be a cocky, imbued with himself human trash who think he’s over everybody!! It disgusted me when I saw hundreds of thousands of people who idolized him because he was a professionnal athlete who became world champion!! It’s clearly a reflection of our sick, worthless and immoral society definitely not going upward...anyway, at least Karma finally caught up with him but I hope he won’t forget about him any time soon cause I consider he still haven’t fully paid for the lives he ruined!
