    Now that's a proper vtec sound from a new Honda!

    Need to upgrade from my Accord coupe soon lol. Have a 50+ lb dog and probably a baby on the way within 2 years ish. Prob gonna end up with this, but I wish I could get the 6MT Civic hatch!

      Did you consider the CRV? We are happy with ours with 2 kids right now. The gas mileage is a HUGE difference between the pilot / passport and a CRV . Price too

      @@NAUS2K I can't lie, I love the way those look and the MPG, but I think the trunk space would be a little tight for our dog in his crate

    It’s a 9 speed. Honda has revised the software in it.

    So I was told by a friend of mine that's a tech at Honda, the wheels no longer have sensors inside them for air pressure monitoring. The way it's monitored now is simply by the computer reading that one of the wheels are not rolling at the same pace as the other wheels. Then it will throw a low air pressure light onto the dash. It's your job to figure out which wheel it is. it was done to save money and not need to replace those expensive wheel sensors that may periodically break.

    • @NAUS2K
      @NAUS2K  7 месяцев назад +3

      Yes that is true. Most of the new Honda s use the abs sensors for that. However this car showed each tire PSI on the dash so it must have individual sensors in each tire

    been loving your videos over the 11th gen civic I recently purchased the same car in red automatic and been using your content to mod it and learn

      I have the same. Have you noticed your car seems to be hoarding a gallon or two? I had one bar down to 17 miles left. I filled up and only got 10 gallons.

    • @NAUS2K
      @NAUS2K  7 месяцев назад +1

      Yes this is how mine is too. My 8thgen civic tank was 13.2 gallons vs the 11th 12ish gallons. Still getting use to much less miles per tank

    We bought a 2023 passport sport for my wife. We got rid of the disastrous 2013 Nissan pathfinder. I will never own a CVT again. I did like the Nissan 3.5 motor. The passport like you said is hilarious with the vtec! 2024 did away with vtec. We love the car. Had to ditch the 20” rims because of flats. I found a set of brand new ridgeline 18” wheels with higher profile. The color match perfectly and were a necessary change.

    • @ryanb8736

      2024 passport still has Vtec. It’s the 23/24 Pilot that has new DOHC engine without Vtec.

      @@ryanb8736 that’s good for those that love the vtec! Hopefully they keep that engine in the passport forever!

    Bought a passport TS to accompany my ap2. It's hilarious how a Honda SUV feels more old school honda-ish than their new sport cars. Your review is spot on. I love mine and look forward to driving it everyday.

    interested in adding a new Trailsport Passport to my fleet. But I am concerned with VCM issues, and also someone had major engine issues with their 24 pilot here on youtube ( ruclips.net/video/l_FyTphPzYk/видео.htmlsi=dC2gOGDKOeh7f-fr)

    Wow - quite the opposite spectrums from the Civic Hatch to this SUV monster. Hope Honda treats you right and look forward to seeing what the fix was on the Civic rattling.

      Same problems as him.. Leaked water on the trunk and now leaking oil in the engine..
      Also I just went to the dealer today and they are already trying to blame it in the mecanic that change my oil once and dont even want to give a loaner.

      @@NAUS2K Whew, because I'm looking forward to the Si rear spring/shock swap video.
      I've been following Hatch MT6 "flows" at local dealers, as I'm intending to buy one. Some colors sell in about a month, whereas others sit for over 3 months.
      The closest dealer has yet to get one in the "right color," so I'm just waiting patiently. I can walk back to the dealer to pick up my Fit after I bring the Civic home.
      I'll start panicking once 2025 gets announced with bad news (e.g. no more MT, no more port-injected K20c, remote kill feature, etc.). I assume I'll be safe until at least the end of summer.

      @@catsspatI don’t have passengers or carry heavy loads and my rear shocks seem to be higher than my front. Is this normal? I don’t think I need harder springs

    • @catsspat
      @catsspat 7 месяцев назад

      @@natas12rm I'd say rear being slightly higher than front is a common thing. Honestly, I think it looks better that way.
      I've always had hitches (usually for bicycles) on my cars. Both Protege5 and Impreza had major squatting issues.
      Maybe I just put too much stuff in them (shrug), but I do see a lot of Impreza Hatches on the road with squatting rears.
      I replaced the rear springs on mine with standard-height King Springs and it was great.
