    Nice work!
Why such a low ratio of the pulleys? I'm almost done building for my EQ5 an MaxESP3 with TMC5160, and I'm using 16:50 pulleys.

Hi. Do you know how to put Alt-Az gear ratio in table calc? I have Gr1 20, but, Gr2 must be 1? Because alt/az don't have that. If I set 20-20, 1-1, i got too small number of RPM.

    what is GR2 exactly.
i have a GEMEQ. I metal 3d printed the 2 pulleys of 70 teeth. and connected them directly to the RA & DEC axis shaft. Both 70-teeth pulleys are connected with the 20-teeth pulley (the 20-teeth pulley is directly connected with the nema17 shaft) via GT2 belt.

GR2 is just the specification standard for the belt / pulley size.

You were not able to use E and W because your ST4 port was configured as INPUT_PULLUP (for use with SHC perhaps). Do you have resistor network soldered? Also you skipped observing site settings...

Hi, how accurate is this goto system? How's the tracking? Thanks

Once OnStep is installed, can you still use the telescope manually? With fine adjustments? Thanks again.

The Onstep App can control telescope for manually.

    Just found out about onstep.
Is there a kit you buy to make these or do people make their own circuit boards?

There are one or two people selling kits. I also have parts if you are interested, it is a lot of time to source parts...

Hi, Thanks for the guide. Did you manage to fix the issue where the East/West buttons did not work?

    • @zenseidk9011
      @zenseidk9011  3 года назад +1

Hi, yes I think it was due to not having the resistor networks mounted

And don't forget to set your location or observation site!
I didn't mention it in the video.

Does it have tracking port? Like the ST4? Thanks.

Hi, did you print the brackets for the stepper motors ? if so, do you have the files?
