Hey Ryan, (and anyone else who may be interested). If you don't already use the NRAAS Traveler mod, I recommend it. It prevents a lot of glitches including randomly deleting your played sims or family members left at home. You can bring babies and toddlers, and it also makes it possible to visit all regular worlds like Sunset Valley, etc. I'm sure there's a lot more that I'm forgetting, I haven't vacationed in a while. 😂
You can also bring pets and visit any town in your game apart from the World Adventure destinations! Btw if anyone's interested I have a TS3 mods guide (mostly NRaas) linked on my community tab
@@loladiamond01Thank you for mentioning pets because I couldn't remember if you could actually do that or if I made it up in my head so I just didn't say it! 😆
Calling yourself a “menace” in the title because “I went to sims 3 china, impregnated/was impregnated by the locals, stole their cultural treasures like I was a Victorian colonist, salted the earth and burned them in their homes” was a tad informal 😂😂😂
Ryan and whoever, I've been playing Sims 3 in a particular way that is fun. Start with a young adult, design the looks as you like, but randomize the traits. Then in Edit Town lay down a useless 10x10 lot in the forest and move them in there. Buy a bike rack, buy a bicycle, put it in the Sim's inventory, sell the bike rack, and then set familyfunds to 0. I would let you buy a sleeping bag if you have that expansion. I don't, so it's to the firehouse for me. At this point, you can only use the lot when necessary (cancelling the newspaper, getting level 10 trait plaques, gem cutting and and metal smelting, etc.). You cannot build on this lot. You cannot buy items and put them on this lot. You cannot even invite other Sims to the lot. Treat it as if it is just where your mailbox is and nothing more. The goal is to buy a starter house. You should make money in the best way the traits allow, invest as a partner in as many rabbit holes as you can, and it could take a while.
@@liurabaum8746 I just played a Sim, she's insane and a mooch and athletic, I put her on the sports track. Such an odd romp. Took 3-4 weeks to get enough money but she was too fun. Finally she did buy a house and get Kaylynn Langerak to marry her after about 6 weeks.
This is a really fun spin on the usual rags to riches routine! I'd definitely love to see Ryan try it eventually, but may just have to give it a whirl myself in the meantime!
Next time you visit China, the Confounded Boulder! quest is worth doing, since it gives you Pangu's Axe. This object lets you clear rubble piles in one sweep and break large boulders that are sometimes found in tombs.
Umm, the "help with boulder" adventure is mandatory if you wish to 100% all the locations. The boulder is the big boulder you need to get a special pickaxe to smash, it also smashes all rubble in 1 hit, the pickaxe is in china but other locations do have some of those special boulders.
Klepto because you are stealing from tombs? The stuff in the tombs is there for the adventuring sim to take. As for the stuff you can't just pick up none of it is worth the trouble. Adventerous, handy. loner, athletic, and disciplined are the traits an adventurer should have. Best way to do thenm is do the tomb adventures until you get the ones that have no toombs involved like jogging and then switch to digging up the dig spots and collecting RGM's. Once you are done and going to return home always analyze all the artifacts before selling them, more increase in price and sometimes by allot than go down in price and those that go down lose little value.... always a must do with space rocks especially the gigantic ones. $1.5k rock becomes $20k? Happens. Metals gold and above in value get smelted and gems that will be worth more than the uncut plus cut cost should be cut. First adventure to China should net you double the trip cost. As the tombs get bigger and you have collected more the relics should increase in value and quantity... $20k made per trip is possible.
I made one of my sims for perfect genetics challenge go to china and have babies with all the chinese women there because his town was full of his relatives and I didn’t want to make the situation worse(he had like 16 half siblings). Back at home he was the leader of the free world.
I am humbly requesting a whole world adventures play through
@@katierasburn9571 I second that! 🤚
I was about to request the exact same thing.
I love how Gao Pei followed you in the tomb like lady you could have just done this yourself
😂😂😂

yes!!!!! i would love to see ryan explore other worlds, especially the ones from the sims 3 store.
I use it to travel to Sunlit Tides for family vacations!

@@AJ-tiltagirlYou definitely can! I even once had someone ask how I did it when I had the Sim in my story traveling to China with his dog
Tomb Raider? More like Tomb Robber
I've had Abi Yet Sen marry an alien after giving them some youth potions. She has 10 athletic if you play as her so she ain't lying.
Abi beats my ass in the martial arts matches every time no matter what

@@mackenziedesire7515 The bicycle is the kicker. They will always ride the bike and never take a cab. So time management is a concern.
“Get to it!” Why don’t you if you wanted the treasure so bad
Oh, she did get to it
It is indeed in the sims 2 that if you get skilled enough at the hidden meditation skill you start levitating and can teleport when levitating.
You can also teleport in TS3 World Adventures if you're skilled enough. However, I think they call it "zeneport" or something. 😊
@@AJ-tiltagirl I don't remember having achieved that, but I do vaguely remember reading that in a guide now that you mention it.
It is also a sims 3 thing yes, i have used it in some particularly annoying tombs lol

@@alentjanestetico3014 Yeah, I've never attained that skill level either, I just shift+click on the ground to teleport. 🤣
World Adventures is such an underrated pack
even after thousands of hours in this game there’s still more to learn. I had no idea you could swipe from tombs😂😅
I love that this is set in china and the second person is Korean lmaooo
I noticed that in my own game playing ! Had to pause for a second at the name of a sim 😂
the developers said “ehh close enough” like i know this was 2010 but get a grip EA!!!
i love roberta doing these quests for locals and then kicking their asses for wasting her time lmao

i need to see a supernatural playthrough for this channel fr
very british of you to go to other countries and steal their artifacts!
I was waiting for this joke
This was so enjoyable 🤭 btw! "Xi " is actually pronounced like "chic" but without the c in the end. So like "chi" or "she"
"I found clothes at the bottom of the well" lol
Love your TS3 videos. Exactly what I need this evening.
Can't wait to see what trouble you get into!
my fave simmer is at it again!
china is my favourite of the world adventures locations
"I'm getting so much stuff here" - the British word for stealing relics :D
