I really don’t know @Daniel Hegarty ! I never really could feel it’s benefit.. I “think” on some of the lighter attacks from mobs, it will stagger them back slightly maybe? I also always played the game on the hardest difficulty possible though, so maybe it was less effective. I’m unsure. Even though I found this trick, I never really found it worth using “fortification” sadly. Was kinda disappointed that it didn’t do anything much.

It should tell you in the game how to do it though! - the rune is just a wierd thing that I never really found much use for (and makes the shield glow) I was demonstrating here how to use timing to keep it active while block breaking

- first, you need to buy the skill with XP
- as Mr. Kelly says, you just double-tap the block button, which should be L1
