One of my favourite ways to plan and schedule my social media content is by using later.com Later is a great social media planning & scheduling tool that is used by many online business owners. In this later tutorial, I am going to show you how to plan Instagram content, how to schedule Instagram content, and how to automatically post your content to Instagram using later.com.

yes. I just upgraded to the paid account (the starter plan) but I'm still having trouble scheduling to both insta and FB at the same time. I did what you showed here in the video and I only get the indication that its only going to my insta and not FB.

Any time! Each one is a bit different, but when you go into your analytics section on both platforms it should tell you when your audience is most active.
Can I manage multiple accounts with this? I have many clients that want me to start posting for them. Also what’s the difference between this and business suite?
Yes you can, you will need one of their paid plans if you want to manage multiple accounts. By business suite, I think you are meaning Facebook's internal scheduler? If so, the difference is that that only manages Facebook and Instagram whereas Later schedules to other platforms as well like TikTok, Pinterest, Linkedin, etc..
Can you tell us about the changes in Google's algorithms?
Yes absolutely. Google is all keyword based because it is a search engine. That is why Keywords are so important.
Awesome video! I've seen that you can have the popular engagement times added to the calendar as red boxes, so when you're dragging a post into a time, you can see exactly what time and day is most popular from looking at the coloured boxes on the calendar. Do you know how to add that in?
Yes! That is just on Instagram I believe - and it may be a paid feature. It should show on your week view in the calendar section

Awesome! I believe you can repost peoples content yes through the hashtag searching feature.
Can you lower the volume of the music in the background or potentially remove it entirely? It's slightly distracting from all the awesome instructions you're giving!

I want to buy the Later Growth Plan but first I need to clear up my 3 confusions:
1st, Does Later allow to schedule Instagram Reels especially through the desktop version?
2nd, Does Later allow to schedule RUclips shorts?
3rd, Does Later allow to set the different time zones for different social media sets? because I manage social media channels for different clients.

Hey Malik, no Later doesn't let you schedule Reels yet - but I believe this is something they are working on. I don't know many planners that do. Later doesn't offer RUclips support at all. I would recommend scheduling those on RUclips itself. And yes, I believe with the paid platform you can create seperate groups for each client you manage and have different settings within there.
I am using this for free. I like it. I was looking for how to post something at a specific time everyday. Can you do this on later, like pick a date range of when you want something to go out?
Awesome, you can pick the exact time but you have to do it on each post. They also have an automatic "best time" feature where they will automatically publish your content at the best time for your audience, but this may be a paid feature.
@@WandermintCreative Hey, thanks for replying. I just purchased the 150 post option. I like doing the multi posts, but you are right you have to do it for each date. I hope they will update that. I like the hastags feature because it will pull in people that identify with those hashtags. I will check out the best times to post feature.

Does Later allow you to tag people/accounts in the caption for the different platforms?
For Instagram it does!
This is indeed very helpful. In your demo, however, you scheduled 1 image to be posted to different social media platforms. I'm wondering can you also schedule say, a different image in 1 day for different platforms? Like 1 image for FB, 1 image for Instagram, and another image for Pinterest, within the same day?
Yes you can, you will just have to click each platform individually and do it.
Can you curate feed on the Later app?
Yes, with the paid version you can see what your grid will look like.
Can you move your grid photos around on here once you have posted them?
Not once they are posted on Instagram, but in planning mode you can.
How to schedule Instagram Reels and Idea Pins from Later?
You can schedule them just like you would a regular post.
Are you able to post multi images in one post? Also are you able to tag shop products in the post?
Yes, you can post multiple photos at once. With the paid plan there is a way to use your link in bio part to link pictures to items in your shop.

Yes you can! You just need to select multiple photos and drag them on to the calendar together. Later will then ask you if you want to make a carousel post.

Do you need a Facebook business account to schedule on later? I don’t have a Facebook account but have an Instagram creator account and Later will only let me do notifications. It won’t schedule and post on its own.

Great video, tnx for your effort 🙏. Later is a great app, i just don't understand the social set. I have 3 different pages and is what is 1 social set? One profile? Because they only show prizes for 1 social set so i am bit confused. :) tnx again

Quick question can I hide like count in scheduling a post using later?
I don't believe so, I think that is something you have to change in your settings on Instagram itself
have you seen issue with posting .pngs do they come in transparent?
I haven't had any problems, when I create my graphics in Canva, I always make them png and they come in fine. Sometimes when things dont upload in later properly its because the file size is too big.
As a photographer I would like to drag & drop multiple images from Adobe Bridge to Instagram (in a Carousel) and FB. Can it be done with Bridge or can it only be done through the Media Library? You show how to place Stories, but can one place Carousels also?
Hi! Great question, yes you can drag and drop multiple images onto the calendar to create a carousel, but you will have to upload your media into later first.
On Instagram, you can post 8 photos in one post. Is there a way to select multiple photos in one Instagram Post on Later? If so, can you show?
Yes, just upload all the photos you want into the media section. Select them all and drag them onto the day you want to post. This will automatically create a carousel post.

Do you know how to change the cover photo for video during the scheduling process? Can't seems to find it
Yes, it will be right under the video - it should say cover photo, if you click on that it will bring up the timeline of your video and you can scroll until you find a freeze frame that you like.
How to schedule Facebook stories in later?
As of now, I don't believe you can. I would recommend just having the sharing from IG stories and FB stories turned on.
How do you set up automatic posting? And link a personal facebook account to my personal insta?
You will need the paid version to do automatic posting, and you need a business page on Facebook to be able to link to Instagram.
Hi Melissa, is there an app/ platform that you can could recommend that makes it easier to bundle your payment plans for my customers(eg. bundling PayPal, direct banking etc.)?
Hey, not that I can think of. I just use Stripe for my payment plans.

What do you mean? On later itself you are getting these errors?
Hi, Thanks for this. Can someone help me? I have been scheduling on a new account using Later and i must say...the image quality is distorted and its really really bugging me! I pay for the platform but am considering scrapping it if there is no resolution to getting better quality images when I schedule and auto publish. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hey! Hmm I haven't heard of this happening before. I assume the photos are high quality when you upload them into Later? I would reach out to their support to see if they can help you with this.

Yes, you can use Later to post your videos too

Not that i know of.
Collect Media from URL is not in my Later. I have a paid version.

You can definitely use Later on your computer, just log into www.later.com and dismiss the popup that asks you to download the app. If you want to have autopublish though you will need to purchase a plan I believe otherwise you will need your phone for them to send the content to for you to publish.
