She uses the same phrasing as Callas, not a bad thing, for Callas was right about this. Emulating Callas is a hundred times better than emulating Sutherland, at least in Norma.
Not at all the Callas line.she doesn't break the purity of line. Lot of feeling ,but no comparison.And better for her. Every time that somebody is singing well ,we have to verify if she's imitating Callas?she has her own personality

I wish and hope she is teaching opera! She uses the right and old technique and most of opera singers today are bland and bad. The tenor isn't bad also! The tenor uses a good technique as well. They are such rare gems! ✨
Ambos maravillosos. Ella muchisimo mejor que la Netrevko y la Sandra Rovanosky. El me suena mucho a Corelli . De esos tenores que le hacen a uno estremecer como era Corelli.
Sin duda alguna, mejor que esas dos. Saioa canta con técnica, como mandan los cánones…no lleva la voz forzada, le sale como debe ser con fuerza, intensidad, con naturalidad. En cuanto al tenor, para mi, ni de lejos se acerca al bello Corelli. Saludos cordiales.
Hers is a very non nordic or slavic voice but pure latin one with a personal timbre which isn't only beautiful and therefore perfect for dramatic belcanto singing!

I listened to this four times. She has a good voice,but I don’’t hear a dramatic soprano- a spinto at best. Listen to the low notes, but also the high notes miss the steel I hear in real dramatic voices. Very promising, but I am a bit underwhelmed. I hope she will have the wisdom to choose her roles wisely. We need great singers !

You don’t necessarily need to be a dramatic soprano to sing most of the roles she’s sung. Both Renata Tebaldi and Leyla Gencer sang La Gioconda, a heavier but not necessarily more difficult role than Norma, to much acclaim. Hopefully she isn’t dumb enough to sing Turandot, a role that requires an actual dramatic soprano.
There is hope for today’s opera with this great lady. I feel like we’re back in the glory days of the 60’s & 70’s!!!!

Yes, a spinto, but a great one nevertheless. She can sing anything, from Lucia to Gioconda, just like Deutekom.
