The Brazilian cheese bread is made out of tapioca flour - it's actually much healthier than wheat! It was my favorite thing about my five visits to Brazil and I made it at home after getting back! There are quite a few recipes on the internet. You and Jenn should try making it. Easy and delicious!!!!
@@SteffyRabbitheart Tapioca flour has about 1/3 of the carbs that wheat flour has, and it's gluten free. 6 carbs to an oz. of tapioca flour (wheat flour has about 15 to an ounce)
I'm from Brazil, and we love cheese bread so much! We eat it as a snack, sometimes they're offered at conferences and seminars during the breaks, it's so delicious 😋😋
That cheese bread looked so good!!! Definitely will have to try that next time. Thanks for taking us around despite the super rainy day. We're on day 2 of no power from the tropical storm so I greatly appreciate the "company" 😊. Huge hugs and love to you, Jenn and Jackson xoxo
The Fez House wasn't ever a store. It's a house modelled after a house in Fez, Morocco. They sell Fez hats in a shop elsewhere in the Morocco pavilion (the one with the camel out front).
Being from Toronto and having had the soup at Le Cellier, I believe it's WAY overrated...like the burgers at In-and-Out, or the Fried Chicken at the Plaza Inn at Disneyland. Man, a little off topic, but the food at Disneyland was HORRENDOUS...Fresh Baked and Wonderful World of Food hyped up a bunch of food service at DL and it was almost all a huge disappointment. WDW food is WAY better....except for that soup in Canada...it's okay, but there's FAR better food at Epcot!
@Aaron Downey Of course, opinions vary...It's a good soup, don't get me wrong, but again there are just so many great options at Epcot for food that it wouldn't be a go-to for me. During a festival, and with the Disney Dining Plan active, I would prefer the Fillet (although Tim always gets a problem one) I don't know why he doesn't take it back and ask for another one when it's not up to snuff. This is Disneyworld, if it's not right, they'll make it right...Particularly for the Trackers. Disneyland, not so much..
@@Titustails I can say without a doubt that WDW counter service is far above anything we tried at Disneyland. Probably due to the indifference of the cast members. In my experience 9 out of 10 cast members at WDW are top notch, that goes down to 2 out of 10 in California. I suppose it's a different union, and different employee base that Florida. I'm not saying all the counter service at WDW is stellar. But there are some shining stars such as Flame Tree BBQ (AK), Seasons (Land - Epcot), Pecos Bills (MK), Backlot Express (HS) and then there are a TON of fantastic table service restaurants at WDW versus DL. Can't even begin to list those here. Basically we've had the DDP every year we've travelled to Florida and pretty much have been to ALL non-signature TS restaurants that were available prior to the Downtown Disney to Disney Springs conversion, and there are WAY more stars on that front. EVERY food location at Disneyland was a disappointment. Started with a poor attitude on the part of the photographer at the Plaza Inn for my daughter's 9th B-day when I had the DL version of Photopass and when I extended my DL pass card to her to scan, she snarked at me, "Oh we don't DO that kind of thing here!" Total non-Disney attitude to set off my day and it just went down hill from there. Breakfast at our Hotel each morning was way better than anything at DL. Only food item I had there that WAS good was a Churro. Even the hyped up corn dogs were just okay. BTW, if you want BAD theme park food, try having Canada's Wonderland as your home park... It's all like pig slop there and MORE expensive food-wise than Disney. Makes WDW AND DL counter service food look like the world's finest dining.
WillyBeeProductions I agree that the food at Disney World is better than that at Disneyland. I think Disney World puts more emphasis on their food, as it is a bigger resort with more parks, so there needs to be more diversity, and especially since there is Epcot with the world show case. If I compare just magic kingdom to Disneyland the food is a lot closer in quality. It’s unfortunate that you have had some negative experiences with cast members at Disneyland, I honestly haven’t noticed a difference in that regards, always friendly and helpful at both borks, but I know my sister would agree with you.
Hey Tim & Jen just wanted to thank you so much for continually posting Park vlogs. I went to Universal all last week and wearing the mask in the heat can get brutal. Thank you again for going out and doing this for us! Love all the vlogs!
I think quarantine has made many people like myself enjoy gardening more than ever...I would love a video highlighting the planters and beds of the Disney parks soon. There were some in the background that I was dying to see up close !!
Hello a Brazilian here! if you ever wanted to make the cheese bread at home they sell them at target to make in the oven! I buy from the brand 'brazil bites'!
Tim's obsession with the weather and its progression speaks to me and makes me miss my mom. She always needed to have the weather stats and predicted what would happen.
Hey Tim, really happy to see you in the parks again. I have an idea for you. I know you and Jenn enjoy cooking and i know Jenn enjoys baking, Why not try to make the cheese bread from Brazil? Any way, stay safe and continued success..
i just wanted to thank you guys for being so safe and showing everyone that they can enjoy life and stay safe at the same time! i have been subscribed since 2017 and you’re my favorite youtuber!
I want to thank you for your videos. We are from Canada and never had the chance to visit your beautiful State of Florida. Maybe one day! At least your videos gives us the virtual dream of seeing Disney. God bless.
Brazilian Cheese Bread batter - 1 egg, 1/3 cup olive oil, 2/3 cup milk, 1 1/2 cups tapioca flour (same thing as tapioca starch- I order the Bobs red mill whatever it is) 1/2 cup grated or finely shredded cheese (queso, cheddar or your favorite) and 1 tsp salt Preheat oven 400 degrees That's literally it. Mix it in the blender or just with a lot of patience, the tapioca turns to cement when it gets wet. The batter is quite thin, but puffs up fantastically. Muffin tin each cup 1/2 to 2/3 of the way full 18-22 minutes. Easy peasy!
Fez House was never really a store - moreso a cultural presentation area back when the pavilion first started (Tangierine Cafe was also a tourism bureau originally). Visited Florida Sept last year, stays at Give The Kids The World, a wish granted to my daughter who loved it and wants to come back to Florida again, which we plan on doing. The weather was great, very hot and humid, my wife found it a little bit to much but all of Disney, Universal fun helps, my daughter was not bothered with it... the day they both remember clearly was at Animal Kingdom and a storm (short) hit, rain was very heavy something they both never saw, and the thunder was loud and the lightning was away from us. After 10mins or more the storm was gone the sun and humid hit you and it was like nothing happen .... looking forward to coming back
We always find that there is not enough shade at Epcot. They should put up “sails” like the ones you have over your pool. Glad you managed to find some good food on a rainy day.
Tim and Jenni you can find a good substitute for the Brazil bread at Costco. It’s called brazi bites in the freezer section it’s made from tapioca flour so gluten free comes in a resealable bag hope you can find them and try them
Nice done, as always, Tim, thanx. If you, as a native Floridian, were sweating that much, I'd be a melted popsiicle on the ground! I can do heat if I absolutely have to, but humidity KILLS me! Been a very hot and humid summer here in Central NJ, and I have NOT been a happy camper! The word I think you were looking for in the flavor of the dark meat duck is "gamey". That's why I don't like duck, or venison, or anything that has that "heavy" flavor, and I find it much more pronounced even in those things than even dark meat chicken (I also prefer white, or light meat chicken). Nice scoping out great places to sit and eat!! LOL at the idea of them putting masks on the "little people" in the Germany train set - that would be awesome! :) I wonder how the train set stays safe/in place/not flooded out in all the rain? Socially distanced hugs to the 3 of you from New Jersey. Stay strong, stay positive, stay healthy!!
