I wish I would have known about changing letter to outline so it can become a object months ago! I needed to make a M huge but did it the hard way by making it a dropcap and manually increase the size lol. Your way was much easier. Oh well never to late to learn something new. Great video

I'm new to indesign, thank you! I have a question, you appear to have given yourself margins, but your images go over these margins, what's the point in having margins if you don't stick to them? Thanks!
Hahaha, great point! Some of that is because I simply want the images to be full bleed (fill up the whole page), and those images will never respect the margins.
Hello, May I know what Size of the page/ preset you used on the double-page spread? Additionally, I think you should make content in different presets for default magazine sizes. btw I'm a new subscriber. Glad I found this interesting channel :)
Hey, thanks for this beautiful video, I actually tried doing it and everything worked very well till I reached the text wrapping and it didn't work with me. I've watched u r video many times to know what I'm doing wrong, but I'm following ur way and still don't know what Is wrong. 4:36 so when I create an outline and finish styling my letter i go to text wrap after selecting the letter only not the whole square, after that, I click on the wrap-around object shape with the margins and pulling the text to the letter it goes above it like I haven't done anything ?? what can I do
Hi there, just found your site this year. and im enjoying learning your vids. with Indesign, how is it handling high definition image? if i drag an HD image like a photo, will it downscale before printing? or is there an option for that?
The guide won't show up for print, but if you want it to not show up you'd have to go back to guides and check the "delete existing guides" and create a new one with 0 column and rows.

How do you have that page margin thingies??
When you set up the document or creating the new document, you can select how much Margin you want on each side :)
When did you set up the page how much did you set the margins?
They are just a standard 0.5 inch guide!
What was the margin size for your pages?
In this video 0.5" but recently I've been using 0.625" for a more contemporary look.

It depends on what you export the file as. Try playing around with export options, you can choose the quality of the final images.
