Sharur’s PEQdb is genuine innovation that solves real audio issues, unlike the endless theoretical ramblings and bs yapping. Censoring discussions and posts about PEQdb shows their bad faith and pettiness. While non-English communities recognize its potential, headphonescom clings to grudges instead of supporting progress. It’s time to focus on results, not personal agendas. 💯
@@IderuShikesu I'm sorry but it definitely doesn't beat the theoretical rambling. The issue is that most of the rambling you hear/read is just from redditors that echo chamber opinions. sharur is young, I've never met someone around 25 who is mature. we're, humans, are not meant to be mature at this age. Idk man. If I was a well known, well respected and highly regarded person in a community and someone that is known to be somewhat of a controversial figure suddenly puts out something that could potentially be actually helpful and useful to the community, I'd probably be somewhat skeptical. But if this is something that's made in good faith, I'm pretty happy for it. Maybe this is a step in the right direction for you. So far, it looks to be a great tool and I'm sure as more people find it and grow to it, it's going to garner much more interest by the community.
Yeah of course those idiots are protesting against peqdb, because they spent insane amount of money to buy their 3000$ headphones and amps, 1000$ cables and shit, now they subconsciously defend their beliefs that EQ is bad and somehow ruins the output audio quality, it's the same people who believe that cables affect sound and headphone burn-in is real and everyone should be doing that.
GoldenSound seems to be very much a fan of proper digital processing. DMS and others don’t like EQ-ing mainly because it can be a pain in the ass when you have multiple amps, DACs and headphones that you use on daily basis.
Maybe I'll give it another go with the A/B option but the convolver generated during my first attempt was not good. It EQ'd the sound to be muffled. I've never heard any of the music used in the test so I had no basis for what to expect and I admit many times I couldn't hear a difference. So I rated the steps between 0-4 with exception to the ones I could discern a negative quality. I mention this because it seems easy for this system to be prone to user error.
Idk what issue can anyone have with the tool. Tried it with my 7hz zero rn, seems like a useful thing. Would be good if you'd add the oneodio p50 and the new moondrop robin to the list.
Wish I could tell you tell you what these folks are but don't feel like getting yet another strike from RUclips for offensive language in the comment section, anyway tuck them and the chores on who's backs they rode in on, buncha millennial posers.
Filter 3: ON LSC Fc 102 Hz Gain 10.2 dB Q 0.60 Filter 4: ON LSC Fc 105 Hz Gain -10.0 dB Q 0.71 I tried PEQdB for Galaxy Buds 3 Pro and got the above. Is it normal to recommend a large 20.2 dB change between a mere 3 Hz separation? Asking as an EQ noob.
Audiophiles are Audio Fools. Do you think Audiophiles know better than engineers and composers who record? The real stuff is always Studio Qualtiy Stuff. No Audiophile is interested in accurate reproduction of sound. The irony is that all the work is done by engineers, singers, composers, musicians while audiophiles only rant about audio gear.
I tend to agree about audiofools, but then again many engineers ruin the recording with compression and eq because they want it to sound good on mediocre equipment. This happens a lot in pop and rock/metal genres.
An exciting video without any hint as to what PEQDB even is in the first place 😂…. Never heard of it, and the apparent creator of it here doesn’t even explain what it is so little chance it will succeed?

Wait until a company rips it off and sells (for 10x the price) it as their own using marketing jargon, then they'll gobble it up.
I tried PEQdb and I am intrigued by the results I got. However, as an amateur I chose the A/B method, since I don't know how to "rate" a sound...
that's cool
