- Опубликовано: 4 июл 2024
- I've teamed up with @UtahAirguns to bring you the ultimate smallbore long-range slugger. We've been working on this for the past few months, but I've actually been using this setup on my channel for over a year already. So if you are wondering how I achieve 70+ foot pounds from a .22 Impact and feel that it's unfair that this setup isn't available to the public... It is now:)
Order here: utahairguns.com/fx-impact-mki... Развлечения
Sorry for the rambling... I always tend to go in to way too much detail!! In summary:
-Seating-Depth Adjustable Probe
-Custom Valve Return Spring for better valve cycle at higher reg pressures.
-20 MOA Picatinny Rail
-Cerakote & Dip job
-DonnyFL Koi
-Saber Tactical bag rider
-Green ERGO Grip
This setup can be purchased here, USA ONLY: utahairguns.com/fx-impact-mkii-matt-dubber-slugger-edition
Is it possible to do this with the crown?

I like the specs.. Always interesting👌💯... Baie dankie vir video🇿🇦
I like how you get into detail never apologize for taking to long in a video because you give a detailed video
matt you need to test out a jsar raptor or a air force texan
Great video Matt. I thank you and all the FX team for making the industry push forward.
Very informative video. Thank you Matt for taking the time to share the interesting details for your setup.
You just created a need for this “your very personal” FX Impact. Just great.
Matt Dubber,Your the Man!!I've been watching you for the last couple months and you have made Alot of improvements with FX!!So cool to work with fx personally and tweak the barrels and design these slugs and pellet probe that will give a better bc with a flatter trajectory and obviously alot more stopping power!!Very impressive to get 70+fpe with a 34 grain 22 at almost 1000 fps!!!Hats off to you Matt!!Have a great day and stay safe!
Hein is not only a genius, he is a true sportsman. Kindly send my regards. Great video, as always.
You’ve come a long way since I started watching you, WOW !
I was just thinking that same thing
SOB I just ordered my MkII in bronze like 2 weeks ago... well I'm happy to see the sick updates you've added and that hopefully will be available sooner then later so I can get mine up to snuff asap!
🥃cheers🍻
Congrats on the new build! Very awesome that you made the internal improvements, in addition to the custom look of the gun! Keep up the good work & videos! Peace!
Matt, thanks for this video. I already have the 700 mm slug barrel and power plenum. Huma high flow transfer port on it's way. Was contemplating putting in a softer valve spring, your video gave me the node. Reg set at 145 bar. NS slugs 30 gr stock valve spring 814 ft/s. Fitted softer valve sping, same slug now 914 ft/s. Will be making the pellet probe from the video this weekend. When the high flow tranferport arrive my gun should be a beast. Tanks again
You did a great job on making that Matt!
That gun is simply badass
What a Beast of 22 that is some insane power !! Great camo also. Awesome new internals. 👍👍💪👀
Congratulations and kudos on the work you have put in. I would like to personally thank you for not squirreling away technological advances for yourself but always pushing the industry forward.
Congrats, Matt! That is a weapon worthy of your name. Heading over to check it out now!
Nice Matt, VERY nice!! Good luck with this one!
Awesome setup. Cheers mate. This is what I plan on getting.
That's amazing Matt! You are always pushing the boundaries. I love it! I love the OD green and Ergo palm swell grip on my gun. I'd love to see what it could do in .30 cal.
Just ordered my M3 from Robert at Utah, what a good guy and great experience. 👍🏻
That head shot was stellar. Nice setup man!
Duuuuuude, I love this set up, gonna have to save a little more to get this beauty. Thank you.
Aloha Matt from Oahu Hawaii. I really enjoy watching your and your friends videos. Keep it coming. Awesome work!!! Mahalo.
Your a true pioneer of the industry. Looking forward to having a good slug gun one day
Looks awesome brotha!
Im in the market for a new airgun, so glad i found you.
As always very helpful information bud!!! Keep shooting and stay safe and healthy brother!!!!
This is crazy power on a small package!
You have made a huge impact (pun intended) on the air gun world I have been subscribed to you since the beginning
Stunningly NICE
congrats on a nice piece of work
Awesome looking gun. Loved the video,
Pete
That adjustable probe is awesome!
Hay Matt, leke Boet. I’ve been waiting for you to do something like this!! Leke Boet!! Well done 👏🏻👏🏻
A thing of beauty is a joy forever.
Just ordered one of your special editions from Utah Air. Should get it in a few weeks. They are still waiting on the 34gr slugs to come in through customs though. I'll order those as soon as available to complete the outfit. Got an element Nexus to go with it too! Thanks, Matt. You've got the set up tricked out and figured out and saved us a lot of work figuring out how to get it all balanced!
Well, that was a mouth full of goodies! I would say that the mentioned setup is simply bliss! Your years of experience hunting in mostly African areas has given birth to a FX Impact that REALLY impacts, cause it sure impacted me :-)
All this sounds great, would love to see a ton more videos of course...
Still, I find very memorable those long range shots you were doing with much more simpler air rifles years ago. In the end the right equipment used ALWAYS matters, but the right equipment in the right hands, well that's a whole different matter! :-)
Matt you were a 100% correct about the Nexus scope with my 12flbs crown it is deadly accurate and I get looks of envy at the range
Hi Matt, I hope you get to read this, I have been watching your videos for several years now and I must say that you have come a long way, the passion you put into your presentation style with your accent and the backdrop that you film in mixed with your incredible skills behind the scope and inside the rifle itself are highly commendable and virally infectious, I absoulty love your work, I eagerly look forward to everyting you put out, I can not imagine enjoying my downtime without you.
PS, I absolutly love that FX you have put you you together, I hope one day I can afford to buy that exact rifle for myself.
Hi,I enjoy your videos. I love in the city and raise four chickens for eggs and the rats started eating more than the chickens so I had to control them with an air rifle. Thank you for all your time and effort into making these videos.Pete and Dee from Sacramento California USA.
Nice video, love the colour
Matt when it comes to air gunning you are the man. I would like to see a custom .35 fx impact in the future. Where I live .35 is the minimum for hunting deer. Keep up the great work
What state?
@@jkg6211 michigan
Matt, I am quite proud of you and Fredric and Family for listening and bringing slug shooting to the for front for a much wider sectioning of AirGunners.
Well Done Sir! ;

So awesome!!!
Really nice looking gun, good job!
It’s so difficult to see air rifles improve much more.
Currently waiting on a 700mm slug liner, gotta get those Bc’s up!
Loved the mitutoyo caliper... I have two myself... ;)
Good luck with the new airgun!!!
That probe has been in my rapid air weapons since forever!! An the 20MOA rail! But that is one amazing set up!
Just WOW sir. So amazing gun❤️😍
Congratulations! I really enjoy your videos. My FX is ordered with an Element scope.
Great gun Matt love it 😍 ... like the pin probe good how air gun people help each other great work you have dun in the slug liners I am sub 12 ft-lb
But love everything air gun won't a element optic now!!! keep up your
Good work
Fascinating Matt! I love knowing you're always working on something improved and better! This, however, puts other "pellet" rifles further behind. My dream is to have FX come out with a wood stocked version of this same performance, but alas there must be some kind of technological reason that they (and all other companies) c cannot pack all of these power features into a wood stocked variant😔. Until the ending discussion, I didn't see why you chose the .22 caliber. Now, when do you see a .25 version being released? When it is I'll be buying one! Thank you for everything mate😄!!
In South Africa .22 cal is the maximum caliber allowed.
Thanks Matt. I stated on FB that I was looking forward to the slug heavy STX in .22 when they came out. Either John or Ernest reached out to me on
FB and I have one coming now. I'm told the dealer making it available to me does not even have them logged into inventoried yet. LOL! I am already getting outstanding accuracy in a Brownell's
Gumsmithing .223 liner in the Mini Raptor as is. It will be interesting to compare! The Fx Liner is the 600mm, as that is about all the length the full size gun can handle. In the Impact, the 700mm would be a natural!
KnifeMaker
Excellent
Excellent rifle Matt. Sure to be a big hit.
Was thinking Maverick, now this one gives me pause. Decisions, decisions. Merry Christmas🎄
Well done! This is a huge step fwd for proper zero bullshit airgunning....!!!!!
Matt, I purchased an FX Impact .22 with 700mm barrel based on your review , unfortunately Utah Airguns never answered my e-mail on your slugger so I went with Pyramyd Air and will piece it together ! Thanks for all you do !
good stuff bud
Great gun 💖
Wow nice info 👍
You are best Hunter....💪💪💪
Ur just to awesome man.
Really love it your video
❤️❤️❤️❤️💕💕Need this. Hopefully soon.
U just really got into 22.lr territory;) very nice man
A really good video. The Impact is still a awsome airgun. 70+ FPE with .22 is very good. I like it. But i like the Dreamline too, especially with the GRS stock. With the tuned Dreamline i get nearly such a high muzzle energy. With cal. 22, 40 grain slug, 600mm FX slug Barrel, a big plenum an a tungsten hammer i get about 67 FPE with the Dreamline! I really like to tune airguns and videos like this.
Matt you’re a legend , keep up the hard work and awesome videos 😱 I live and hunt in the eastern cape and look up to you 👌🏻hopefully I can meet you and shoot togther one day, keep well .
Excelente video matt. Saludos desde chile 🇨🇱 🙋♂️
Seeing that probe, finally top of the line airguns are doing what the qb has been doing for decades
This airgun fx is what im dreaming for
FX is listening! This is a great collaboration. I'm considering buying this... But I want to wait for it in .25 for hunting coyotes on our ranch in Mexico, as well as 100 pound or less hogs in Texas.
My .22 has better penetration on feral hogs than my .25. Using a heavier .22 at a higher velocity drops them dead in their tracks right next to my deer feeders. Skipping the 25 and getting the .30 al would be better. .25 is the black sheep which makes it attractive but I've always had better success with a .22 or .30 cals
@@FarmerFpv 👍 interesting.
Shame this isn’t available in the uk. It would be up there on my shopping list! 🤪

SUCCESS FOR YOU MATT DUBBER
Legend !
Awesome video Matt very awesome gun ... but I went with the 25 cal 700mm I hope I didn't make a mistake .. thanks for sharing buddy bsafe
hi bro...i used to watch ur vedios, lots f love from NAGALAND(INDIA) BIG FAN ❤️
Big fans of you, from sultanat oman
Wow exactly what I always wanted, it was either the Huben or the Impact and if I can make the same power always going for impact. 0 need for .22LR anymore with the ballistics we have now in airguns.
YEAH BABY!
Do you guys ship to South Africa?
Whenever I see I fell love with that gun
Awesome rifle but out of my price range , but I’ll definitely try the probe if it will work well with both pellets and slugs . I am going to get an Element scope , thanks for designing one that most can afford .
The ultimate .22 powerhouse Matt. I hope I can get the parts up here in Canada to beef my impact up as this. One thing that isn’t fair to us lowly users is FX looks after you rockstars and you tease us with all your toys while they aren’t offered to the rest of us. That’s not cool. Should almost keep all the high end trick stuff to yourselves the FX pros and not tell us about it. My humble opinion Matt
Thanks as always for your ongoing passion and dedication brother which ultimately helps us all
Cool video..
I had my .30 pellet probe fire out nearly hitting my head as it ricocheted off my Saber tactical butt stock, a part from deafening and scaring the life out of me, it’s made me very wary of firing my impact, despite being fixed. So please please make sure this newly designed probe isn’t only held in by a tiny 4mm grub screw. It seems madness that it isn’t screwed in place as well as locked in by the grub screw.
Wow brother o can only imagine how lucky you musta felt you weren’t seriously injured or worse having that happen. Glad you’re ok.
Isn’t there enough diameter in that probe to use a larger diameter screw ??
ruclips.net/video/PN7v5epIUPA/видео.html
Plaidcladcanuck it was close, it wasn’t till after that it sunk in how lucky I was. Yes there is enough room to screw in a larger screw, big design fault, let’s hope it doesn’t take someone to be killed before it’s changed. Ernest Row has in fact got a video on having to put an extra screw in because he wanted to be extra safe, open your eyes fx.
Andy Chapman yes lets hope they don’t continue to overlook this simple safety feature before they end up facing a Very Costly Lawsuit. My very first Impact which is a 3rd Gen MK1 is suppose to arrive tomorrow so I’m not familiar with the pellet probe placement but on my new .25 Crown there certainly is enough room to have them design a 2nd machine screw along the length of the pellet probe while having the bolt pulled back. FX in my humble opinion leads the industry and continually improving but ya to overlook safety features like this if not addressed could end up hurting them where it counts
Another great video Matt I was hoping that the fx dreamline would also have a pin probe, do you know if this will be an option in the future 👍
I really like the gun ..am from India..
Great video,big fan .😍
One video for armonic tuning please....!!!
Tank you..!!!
😉
That‘s really tremendous Airgun power! But…you could also use a good .22lr bolt action rifle with a silencer
for half the price and the ammo is not much more expensive than those airgun slugs.
And…even more power! So my opinion is: Airguns should stay airguns and not to try to duplicate rimfire power!
I see where your coming from,I wouldn’t set my gun up more than 50 flbs, much more than that and yeh you might aswel have .22lr.There is just something about power from Airguns just feels good.
The ammo adds up if you do tons of shooting, especially target shooting. Also some folks like the ability to shoot in their backyards with proper backing without getting the cops called on you (will happen even with subsonic and silencer sometimes from old ladies lmao). Also another one is if you live in a commy state like California like I do we can't even have silencers and we need background checks for even ammo now which I'm just so against.
LOL! I guess we should all be shooting stick bows as well. None of the high end well engineered compounds.
Rolexr huh? Wouldn't a simple quartz timex keep better time. Yeah, I know, I wear Rolex and Paneria myself. It's about the technology and challenge. Not the end result of the hunt!
Did I mention that a high quality air gun will make the best .22lr take a way back seat in accuracy? Well, they can and do! to the point they are not allowed at most bench rest and long range .22 matches. Humm!
You should have seen the prices collectors and dealers got for my knives! Holy ------ Heck, I couldn't even afford one! A hardware store knife will cut! It is about the art/ materials, and precision craftsmanship. You Know, like a Rolex. ;
michael l …O.k. My intention has nothing to do against high tech airguns. I can only speak as a German sportshooter.
I can buy and own high powered .22 air rifles if I want, but I can only shoot it on a shooting range. So if I want to shoot
there, I rather pack my .17hmr or my .308Win instead of an 90 Joule airgun. They make more fun on a range.
I own 5 air rifles as well and they only have 7,5 joules (5,6FPE)and are free without a permission and you can shoot backyard
or indoor in your house if you want. For airgun hunters it’s another cup of tea. But the prices of the PPC‘s are way over the top.
So that’s all what I wanted to say and it is just my opinion 😉
@@TheArtofBoxing101 the added bonus is we can hunt turkeys with it - list thing to do. can't use a rimfire for that.
can't stand the ammo or anything kommiefornia puts out also !
Nice
Hi Matt, thanks for sharing all of your insights on long range precision shooting in a MD custom FX impact!
At the end of your video, you mention the machine wont be pushing the gun too hard. However, if you set the regulator to 170 bar, aren't the internals of the gun prone to being stressed?
Also, did you modified the regulator to your gun (HUMA/AMP), as regs usually are limited to approx 150 bar?
Keep up your great work for (air)gun enthusiast! 👍
Watching here in Philippines..its realy nice fx impact..hope to have 1 of that soon..
Well, I just ordered a Element Optics Helix 6-24x50, I couldn't afford the Nexus, but hope this Helix is a good scope, cause 400euros is steep as it is in my book.
After reading all the information on these scopes I was convinced the Helix would be for me.
I was looking at getting an Airmax Hawke scope at 6-24x50 which was around same price but I REALLY don't need IR, and that reticle I just didn't like. The only other scope's reticle I loved was on the Falcon scope. So yeah, I'm hoping that the Element Optics scope delivers...
I’m not quite sure I want to take my Impact 25 to this level, but I enjoyed the video none the less.
When are you guys going to do some night time ratting?
How about doing a Titan scope review with a Pard NV007 attached?
Loved your videos from india ❤❤❤❤❤
Wonderful to see it in .22 my local laws like RSA, allow air gun hunting in .22 and .177 only. I just dunno if I can buy that sucker yet...
I like the .30 cal rifles and would like to see an interchangeable barrel from 22 to 30 and a volume adjustment to carry the larger diameter through a larger barrel for the same 800 to 1200 ft per second. Good job.
Wow my dream ag
Mantul bang matt dubber
take my money!!
Hello Matt. I've got a question something I've been wondering about for a while. Does the direction of rifling effect anything? like accuracy? (Like l/h or r/h around) Depending on which side of the equator your on?
Отличная пневматика!!!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
