The reason it's not safe to pump fuel like this is for static electricity. If your not grounded, whether in or out of the truck, engine running or not. On the note of pumping fuel while engine is running, it is bad for the fuel pumps and injectors and will cause driving issues, hesitation while starting, and driving and check eng light.

Jon Reaves No I'm not retarded. I'm pointing out to the other guy how ridiculous his theory is. If the pump doesn't stop, that implies that it will continue to pump. I'm aware that a pump stops pumping when your set cost is met and the electric pump turns off, or when the fuel level reaches the nozzle tip and triggers the diaphragm in the handle to shut off the flow of gas.

Gas pump hack: if the pump handle is missing the part to keep it on, take off your shoe and put in the handle. Works like a charm! 👍🏼

Never been a truck guy but i wouldn't mind owning a truck. Now a diesel, i have no idea what the hype is. That when you floor it you can pour black smoke to whomever is behind or beside you? Diesels are the most annoying thing to hear besides a rotary engine. They sound like there's nuts and bolts in the engine without any oil.

place the gas cap sideways under the nozzle lever, pumps slower but would have worked well.
just bought on 06 Dodge megacab, but mine has banks intake, turbo and exhaust. chipped. roasts the tires much easier than that guys truck. pretty sure they have 411 gears, ive only had mine for two weeks and at 100mph it was somewhere around 2500 on tack with a redline of like 3500. I dont think that truck will do 140mph

With the limiter removed it can hit closer to 130mph with a tiny 2.2L 145hp 4 cylinder. Not sure what he was bragging about. Acceleration > Top Speed
