Good question. We reviewed the Sinterit Lisa Pro in 2018 - you can read it on the website. We've not done a side-by-side comparison - but that could be another video for sure!
The FormLabs rep told me that the machine was capable of using third party powders, as they don't manufacture any themselves. They won't guarantee material performance and resolution, that is all.

not true, there is a powder credit card to track powder usage
