but here's another thing, usually the teams with Medalion tend to be the most stacked, and tend to get forecast towers ( not always and especially not with pros games this isn't as accurate but still holds some value,) so they could of just been following where the most medallions teams are as they tend to predict the next zone (just a theory)

That's when Savage said that one of those guys is using a macro. Those can be used to help pick up items or guns before your opponent, I guess.

Keep in mind that EAC already has some form of admin access so getting access to a browser's memory or API wouldn't be difficult. You scan all the browser tabs and see if a Twitch tab exists with the username of a person in your game. This may be flawed, but it wouldn't be too difficult to implement. Ensuring the tab is being played (and not paused) would also be another condition that should be checked. Sorry for nerding out🤓

Stream sniping would be a player joining an opponents stream to figure out where they are and kill them or if they got storm forecast then know the zones movements.
All these "pro" players either stream snipe or soft aim cheat. So the real pros get grieved. They need to have an employee on every pro players stream in big money tournaments to insure of no cheats sus gameplay and stream sniping. Also before they start the employee should see every pc players task manager to make sure there no cheats running . Not sure how they would check console if thats even needed.

People at the top of Canada get like 80 ping now, New Zealand players would get 500 ping if oce and Asia combined. Stop complaining about the 20 ping increase you got. Ping wise that’s almost the same as combining the Brazil Region with NAC, do you know how bad the ping would be for people at the bottom of South America? And the distance would be further combining Oce with Asia.
yeah nah mate. south islanders and tasmainians get 90 ping on guam servers and 140 on japan. week 2 of this FNCS had at least 15,228 teams compete in oceania opens. There is no need to scrap a region with 30,000 players competing and force them to play on three digit ping. we're small when compared to EU, but still quite massive nonetheless. also LOL middle east had 13,624 teams competing... Asia had 7,331 how about we cut them?

Honestly my theory is that they have some kind of auto-detection running to discern players movements in relation to future storm circle locations with forecast towers. For example, if a team moves across map in a statistically improbable way where it seems they have knowledge of future zones, there is no way to do that without cheating in some way. Now epic might not be able to prove these statistical improbabilities with 100% evidence of cheating so they give them the lowest warning possible - a warning for stream sniping (a way to achieve this future zone knowledge).
My theory is that the team contesting savage and mongraal had macros setup. Maybe anti-cheat is updated to detect macros from different softwares running on your device. Why I ended up with this conclusion is because whenever savage tried to 50-50 the chest ( first 4 games ) of grands. Not a single time he ended up with the gun or any loot. Savage and mongraal ended up winning the spawn after they gave up on 50-50 the chest on top of their landing. How can he lose 4 times back to back on a single chest? Ik ping matters but savage does have good ping on EU. This is my best guess

Well alot of pros income is streaming (for instance mongraal and savage were pulling in tens of thousands of views) and let's be honest streaming or not savage and mongraal were not gonna win that fncs. It's amazing how many people cheat in this game. Not even just the pros, everyday regular people and ranked grinders are using cheats. It's insane. As an older player it's disheartening and lame. How can anyone feel good about improving or getting better or succeeding while cheating. Sad.
I was thinking that the antique could detect if you're on a twitch stream then I realised that would literally be illegal they would be checking what your browser is doing and they would have to at least be in the terms of service

anti cheat only works for software cheats on the pc that the games is being played on. it cant detect DMA, which uses a second PC to run the software. only a human can manually look at it and clearly see how suspect it is. snappy and robotic aim that's never smooth? aim bot. cross hair never on opponent but bullets still cutting off ppls heads? silent aim. not hard to spot once you know what you're looking for.
I just wish they were more open about why they were doing this. It's probably got to do with Blast taking over comp so now they're trying to be more proactive in removing cheaters. But Epic has always been very silent about competitive so I wouldn't be surprised if they're maybe waiting for Epic to let them say something about what happened maybe?

yo so i was actually doing some research of my own into this issue especially the OCE teams. I had a short chat with Crusades and he said he didn't stream snipe in grands, maybe he was cheating in qualifiers? they are t2 team so not exactly sure if they were cheating in grands like maybe with very weak aimbot because they did get 8th which is their best placement by far. Suns and Vazen could have been cheating as well as they got 120 more points than alex worthy and even repulse jace only won by 12 points.
Mongraal and Mr Savage may talk about landing positions, different ways to play off spawn, etc... that could be listened to by the stream snipers, and the three minute delay wouldn't really matter if they're in the lobby waiting for next game, etc. For example, if Mr Savage and Mongraal died off spawn, they could then say like "Oh I'm going to land on roof next time..." which would be in 20 minutes when the next game starts.
The anticheat couldn't detect if you have a twitch stream open, even if it could. Alot of people watch twitch stream on their second monitor while freebuilding/just chilling and playing.
I think this is anti cheat picking up hacking signs rather than identifying the actual hack, & that they have a 99.99% faith in their detection that they're happy to remove them from the leaderboards & issue warnings, but not certain enough to provide hard bans in case of false positives as has happened in the past. You'll probably find a lot of these players 'promoted' to perma bans once Epic finds that last 0.01% certainty.
Nayte and Lane were apparently using pickup macros. They won every 50/50 for the chest and allways got everything from the chest ( ammo, gun and mats) allso mrsavage was very sus about them using macros so yeah.

yea suns has had many close calls before like being in a call with cheater saying dont go this drop me and my duo are going to hack there and they go exsposed for cheating suns wall hacked someone threw a wal so im happy they got banned congrats to alex worthy
you haven't speak about "storm surge" a lot of team get removed because they working together to get surge
It's amazing how many people cheat in this game. Not even just the pros, everyday regular people and ranked grinders are using cheats. It's insane. As an older player it's disheartening and lame. How can anyone feel good about improving or getting better or succeeding while cheating. Sad.
I was thinking that the antique could detect if you're on a twitch stream then I realised that would literally be illegal they would be checking what your browser is doing and they would have to at least be in the terms of service
richochet anticheat can read the names of open tabs on google so it is possible
Plus anyone with half a brain would use a separate device e.g. laptop to run the stream, not least because fortnight sometimes lags when you watch streams or vids on the same PC.

Wasn’t Jarvis banned for life for cheating in a pub game? If somebody’s cheating in a money game, I would certainly think that they would earn themselves a lifetime ban. Feels like they are not consistent at all.
anti cheat only works for software cheats on the pc that the games is being played on. it cant detect DMA, which uses a second PC to run the software. only a human can manually look at it and clearly see how suspect it is.
snappy and robotic aim that's never smooth? aim bot. cross hair never on opponent but bullets still cutting off ppls heads? silent aim. not hard to spot once you know what you're looking for.
I just wish they were more open about why they were doing this. It's probably got to do with Blast taking over comp so now they're trying to be more proactive in removing cheaters. But Epic has always been very silent about competitive so I wouldn't be surprised if they're maybe waiting for Epic to let them say something about what happened maybe?

the team that landed on mrsvage and mongraal used pickup macros, i dont know if that is bannable but mrsavage usen scrollwheel and his other pickup bind, spammed and he got nothing from the chest.

Layn is using macro i was watching a replay in 0.10 speed and he picked up weapons faster then a normal person can in normal speed it was in day 2

yo so i was actually doing some research of my own into this issue especially the OCE teams. I had a short chat with Crusades and he said he didn't stream snipe in grands, maybe he was cheating in qualifiers? they are t2 team so not exactly sure if they were cheating in grands like maybe with very weak aimbot because they did get 8th which is their best placement by far. Suns and Vazen could have been cheating as well as they got 120 more points than alex worthy and even repulse jace only won by 12 points.

Mongraal and Mr Savage may talk about landing positions, different ways to play off spawn, etc... that could be listened to by the stream snipers, and the three minute delay wouldn't really matter if they're in the lobby waiting for next game, etc. For example, if Mr Savage and Mongraal died off spawn, they could then say like "Oh I'm going to land on roof next time..." which would be in 20 minutes when the next game starts.
The anticheat couldn't detect if you have a twitch stream open, even if it could. Alot of people watch twitch stream on their second monitor while freebuilding/just chilling and playing.

I think this is anti cheat picking up hacking signs rather than identifying the actual hack, & that they have a 99.99% faith in their detection that they're happy to remove them from the leaderboards & issue warnings, but not certain enough to provide hard bans in case of false positives as has happened in the past.
You'll probably find a lot of these players 'promoted' to perma bans once Epic finds that last 0.01% certainty.
Nayte and Lane were apparently using pickup macros. They won every 50/50 for the chest and allways got everything from the chest ( ammo, gun and mats) allso mrsavage was very sus about them using macros so yeah.
