Horse Track System Walk Through with Chase (and Coco)

Because of a suggestion from my lovely friend "Isi Next Door" I have, this year, set up a grass track system for the horses. So far this is going well and seems to be managing their weight and it means they can all be together and not have to stay in the yard all day, only going in to the field at night. So I though I would walk through and video it. If anyone is interested in setting up their own track I can suggest a facebook page called "Horse Track System" where people share their own experiences of their track system and plenty of brilliant advice is given and received.

what is the base on the enclosed arena?

You just have to be very careful with the short grass on the track .. it’s very high in sugar when it’s that height.
If you haven’t already read it I recommend you read Paddock Paradise by Jaime Jackson.
He is the founder of the track system 😊👍🏽

Thank you for you response!! I've heard of it but not read it. I did get a lot of experience with another mini, with chronic laminitis but I'm always looking to improve my knowledge so I'll take a look. Thank you 👍😊

Yes, I agree. I wouldn't let my mini's (or any horses/donkeys) access to green grass like that. Dangerous
