I'm just gonna go ahead and say it ,Their catering more towards unisex fragrances and their is so soooo many I can name of and I'm sure their are people who would agree

@@marymassengale5400 That is very true. You're right from the decor /fashion. Everything has been a neutral clean look. It's been around but it's been taking off more than ever in the past year but there are a lot of us gourmand lovers😩

Oh my , I seem to be one of the few people on social media that likes this. At first the gingerbread note is definitely quite strong. But on the drydown, the vanilla and the timber note are fairly equal. I still definitely do get a hint of gingerbread which i wish was more prominent. My husband really likes it too. It lasts a minimum of 10 hours on me. It's almost like an outdoor vanilla fragrance with a pinch of gingerbread. At 49 years old, I have been blessed with the ability to turn all perfumes sweet , including this one. ❤🇨🇦. With love from BC , Canada , thank you for being so awesome and honest .

I definitely think they could have named it differently, but as a deep, woodsy lover, I am looking forward to this one! I loved this year and it finally feels like BBW is elevating their fragrance catalog. I think it's due to the success of the Neutrals line in both candles and soaps. I'm sick of fruity florals for sure
That definitely could be it. I wish they could cater to everyone at the same time and not just one crowd to me It would be better sales. That's why during semi-annual they have so much overstocked on a lot of these products because they're only reaching targeted audiences with each collection 😔
I surprisingly loved it, definitely need back ups, I prefer not to smell like cake or bakery.

Hi From Chicago! Great review! I just bought this yesterday and really really like it. To me it smells like ginger and cardamom spiced rice pudding with little bursts of sweet raisins. Going to layer great with Sweet Tooth Caramel Dream, Prerogative, Cardamom and Mimosa and The Only One!

I’m intrigued about this one. I love the foodie gingerbread scents (such as Gingerbread Latte) but this sounds interesting. I like some woodsy scents so I’m going to try this one at the store soon. 🧡 I currently have the Hempz Apple Cider & Nutmeg body lotion and it smells divine. It may pair nicely with the Jolly Gingerbread Village.

Actually, I love this one! I tried it at the store a couple of weeks ago, and yesterday I ended up buying the fragrance mist and the body cream because I had a coupon about to expire. I absolutely love this scent…it’s a bit of a spicy gingerbread with a touch of woods and maybe even some soft musk (not sure about the musk but there’s something that reminds me of it). I know people will think I’m weird but I’m enjoying it. Lol 💛
IDK IF IMA PICK THIS UP SIS. IMA HAVE TO GO SMELL IT FIRST. I HAVENT SAW A GOOD REVIEW YET. I BET IT WOULD PAIR GOOD WITH MARSHMALLOW PUMPKIN LATTE. TFS GREAT REVIEW. 😊❤

i loved the spiced gingerbread swirl shower gel from 2018. it was gourmand goodness. was excited that a similar if not same scent returning. i smelled it in store and didn't mind it even though it was less bakery than i was hoping it would be. think i'll still try it when it goes on sale this weekend. kinda sad that many people are already panning it
Yes, that's how fragrances are it's going to be different on everyone. I always mentioned that someone else can get a really sweet of aroma from this one. It's just on me. I get most of a woody fragrance so it's not much of a bakery fragrance on me. It could be for you when you try it out

I return mines😭😭😭 not what I was expecting. On my skin all I smelt was the wood notes.
That's what I'm saying. It is Woody heavy. That's all I was left with at the end with just a hint of spice😩

I went in the store to smell this one today, and it was ok. I found it to be a little light. I may pick up a body mist to layer with some of my other scents. I heard we are getting a body care sale on 10/29. If that is true, I will get it then.
Definitely best to pick this up during a sale so it won't be too much of a loss if you don't want it, but you could still exchange 💗
Yes, i am really disappointed in the gourmand selection this year. Iced Lemon Poundcake was the only new one i can remember.

Ur full on decadent gingerbread scent was called Spiced Gingerbread Swirl 2017ish, that 1 smelled like a spicy gingerbread cookie. They might've been thinking since they already gave us 2 gourmand one's a few yrs ago, they're gonna tone it down for this yr. I'm gonna buy it anyways simply out of curiosity, but now I know what to expect & won't feel so disappointed and I'm grateful I originally had the other two. Have u tried the Hempz lotion w/gingerbread latte? I ❤ that TPH scent all by itself, it is soooooo strong. That Jo Malone bottle is gorgeous js.
I wish I would have got to try that one wow! It might return one day. I have not tried the hempz gingerbread lotion I need to... All those taraji p. Henson body sprays are amazing!

You’re right they’re slacking with the gourmands even the lemon pound cake one doesn’t have half the vanilla as the strawberry pound cake does

Seems like they’re are going for more masculine scents to get more men to shop with them which is cool. I know I wasn’t going to like once I learned the scent notes so I went ahead and ordered myself Gingerbread Latte. Hopefully it smells fresh being it’s from 2020
It does seem like a lot of the fragrances this year are unisex.... Gingerbread Latte is nice it's just not strong
My nose must be broken, At first spray it reminded me of being frenshie cashmere vanilla but with some gingerbread loaf touch, the dry down started to smell different.
To me they both are in the same vein.
No that's just what you get and that's fine. It seems like it will pair really great with the cashmere fragrance you mentioned. I have that one ☺️
BBW can not get a good gourmand right at all. The person who created Wrapped in Vanilla, needs to create a good gourmand.

I mean I'm happy for the return of dahlia, fairytale, snowflakes n cashmere, strawberry snowflakes, forever red etc, but I would of like some different scents too! Like a straight up gourmand cookie with vanilla caramel with a nutty note like almond or pistachio!! I heard they are bringing out pistachio and vanilla (like the 3 wick)scent in body care!!!
I like it, but it does need a bit more Gingerbread in it.

Not to me Billie Eilish is way more Vanilla dense to me smells way more sweet and Gourmand I'm sure they can pair good together Jolly Gingerbread Village has a strong Woodsy note I don't get anything else besides a little spice💓

@@KekeScentedLounge I don’t think that it’s a replacement but I don’t think Wrapped in vanilla is coming back this year. I didn’t see it in the future lineup for any of the Christmas scents. Maybe Dirty Soul will have it soon.
