Yes to the depends, I even got off brand ones and those were fine. I never used the hospital underwear. One thing I wasn’t aware of is that I very much looked pregnant still from the hospital because the uterus is still big - so I was glad I had stretchy clothes like you. And yes I had to pump too (not planned, she was in NICU and I couldn’t hold her for like two days then when I could she wasn’t latching) and they did store my milk and provided little cooler bags. I’m assuming that’s not just because she was in NICU. I was so glad I was able to pump so she still could get breast milk. I ended up exclusively feeding her breast milk by pumping for 14 months. Oh and I realized the hard way not to wear any super cute clothes I wanted to keep because things get pretty bloody and nasty immediately after. 31 weeks with my second and I already forgot all the stuff I brought 7 years ago lol so watching to refresh my memory
There definitely going to encourage you to do skin to skin and breast feed directly. Then when you get home you can switch to pumping only if you’d like. Once you get past the hard part, honestly breast feeding will be one of your most cherished memories.
I will certainly be doing skin to skin for sure. However, I am not breastfeeding. My doctor & I have already discussed and she is in agreement with the decision. We’ll be pumping & formula feeding only.
