Tbh from an animation standpoint the animations are half-baked the run animation literally clips through his quills occasionally, and a few others are really fast or slow for no valid reason as well as his weird non-rigged hands on victory animations, but in a way that gives the game a more nostalgic feel.

Knowing Sonic Team, if they actually attempted this, they'd just take "Sonic Adventure DX", put some cheap HD texture pack on everything, make everything even glitchier than it already was, and then demand 60 bucks for it.

His spines should be spikey angled downwards, and look good facing viewer/sideways/backside. Would be nice to see in motion like in Sonic Riders. Sonic’s chest should be puffed out and rounded. Not completely spherical or thin and lanky. I would also change the jump ball. It being a solid blue sphere doesn’t look well or creative. The design should be good enough that if you paused the game to take a picture, you could tell it’s Sonic. (Something I’d make is similar to sonic advance 3 jump ball)
@@Sonic_Beyond This is modern Sonic Team we are talking about. I still don't fully believe them. Plus, most of the people played DX version, so i don't think the Dreamcast version would be used
@@Dreamcasttime Yes many people played the DX version since it was more accessible on the GameCube, but the Dreamcast version was the true and intended experience for the game and it would most likely seem they would base it off of the Dreamcast version regardless if people are more biased towards DX.
They could use the Dreamcast version as base but they could add some content from DX version like Game Gear Collection,Cream Station Square Cameo,etc. And add Dreamcast DLC's like Famitsu Hedgehog Poster Hunt,Halloween at Twinkle Park,Jingle Christmas Tree and Etc.
Honestly, if they did make an adventure remake, my first priority would be that they dont change Sonic's animations. THEY'RE SO GOOD IN ADVENTURE

I would love if a new Sonic Adventure remaster/remake was at least Uekawa cel-shaded, which would really suited the game.
