so grateful for this recap. I am nearly finished with a sale a day course and have been concentrating on wholesale. I have gained 7 new outlets/galleries in the last couple of months and over last year my wholesale sales actually doubled my overall profit. yes its less money per item but I am selling 50 things at a time instead of chasing one sale at a time. I just got a photoshoot done so I can start pitching to magazines for editorials. thank you Mai for all you do! I think in another year once I have fully implemented all this my business will be radically different ❤
I haven't tried pitching to stores yet as I get more profit from retail sales than I would from wholesales. I guess the tradeoff is more consistent income which definitely has its advantages.
Yes, the wholesale agreements are good because they are typically consistent and larger orders, and they put your products in front of people from other places.
Hi sis, I noticed that a few influencers in my country dont have a mail id.. not sure if they'd respond tp insta dms. I guess I just gotta try and see !
IG DMs are a fine way to get in contact with someone who doesn't have their email listed. They may not want to deal with spam emails so they filter through DMs.
