I am really embarrassed to say, after knowing how powerful Justins lyrics were in his 'pop' days, that I didn't realise how many lovely tunes he has put out since the 90's. Been catching up through RUclips and have to say there is not ONE song that hasn't affected my emotions. What a great songwriter/guitarist he is.
A lot of comments why Justin is not more popular. I'm sure he wouldn't want to be with today's crop of 'Stars?) - He's still very popular among songwriters. Real writers know he's class
Probably because most people are simple and tend to appreciate little brats on tv-shows,"stars" created by media,with songs and lyrics that gives the word "shallow" a new dimension.
i agree. but it makes no sense to me that when someone who is truly talented and can have a effect of people ( who are completley different from each other) and draw out the emotions of people when listening to their music. is someone who is not more popular then they are. justin needs only a guitar or piano and he can express in words the emotions that people feel...as well as telling a story with his songs. true talent...
He is. The commercial world however deals with what it considers "Current" as what matters. Those with a discerning taste are often out of the loop. Its the battle true songwriters face. Justin has enough depth to deal with it or even ignore it as the need may be. Depth versus Shallow. Often the case. We know he has the depth from the content of his songs. Top top songwriter.

He really needs to keep his songs around 7 minutes long... too much awesomeness for a 2 minute song...
