He's due to retire in November this year. Supreme Court judges retire at the age of 65, while the High Court judges retire at the age of 62.
CJI age is decided in Constitution that is 65 years no one can continue after that
Out of 4 pillars (Legislature, Executive, Judiciary and the Media), 3 can be control by government. Remaining is Court, that needs to be independent. 🙏

Great guy. Wish he becomes a Rajya Sabha member and does more good things for India. And also continues his practice after retiring from his position. Thank you sir for serving the nation. Before leaving, please ensure that we don't inch closer to anarchism / dictatprship / centralization of powers.
