Driving round London in a convertible with the roof down and a flashy handbag prominently on the dashboard. I don't think that's a viable thing any more 🙁
In fairness it would have been nicked in the 90s too, junkies used to wait at traffic lights for women with handbags on the passenger seat and smash the window running off with the bag, then central locking came in and they just had to open the door, a mate of mine had his boot opened at traffic lights and they made off with his laptop.
He might have the same problem I had looking through the window I thought she might be something too, but he didn't have the benefit of the close up camera revealing that is was just some crone past 45 pretending to be under 25.

Quite a fascinating insight into the honesty of people, they tell the truth about their motives. They want to fit a part, they want to be seen as an image, and they want to attract attention. And there's nothing truly wrong with that, in fact that's where our British eccentric culture stemmed from, people living up to a bit.
