Hey I’m looking to get one of these but they say their curved but yours looks straight? Just looking to see if what they put on the website is true. I would rather have a straight one but I don’t wAnt to order it and it be curved.
Absolutely love it still. I provided a brief statement about it in my 1 year Robalo 246 cayman review. The only thing I had to do was to increase my breaker from the 5amp to the 10 amp. Also watch the light bar update. I had to change the way I connected the light bar to the t-top
@@GULF2BAY yeah I realized that after but thanks for the update. I just ordered one for myself I'm unfortunately going to have to use the switch that comes with it or figure something else out since I already did underwater lights and that switch isn't available
The light bar is still working perfectly. I use it all the time early in the morning before the sun rises and while running back in late. Bolting it down is the way to go.
Thanks for the tip on laying on the bow. I was gonna wait for dark 🤦🏽♂️
No worries!
Great video my friend. Thank you for sharing. New subscriber..
Thanks for the Subscribe.
Would you think a 30" is too much for a 24' bay boat? Are there times when you have needed more peripheral light?
A 30 would not be to much. The 20 works great too. I use mine all the time for fishing and running in the dark with the family after beaching
Have you mounted a vhf antenna to that hardtop? Have a 226 and looking to hook up my vhf radio. Looking for ideas on where to mount my antenna.
Not yet. But I was thinking about doing it.

They sell straight ones offbrandproducts.com/products/aurora-20-inch-marine-white-led-light-bar
I called them when I installed mine. They were very responsive and told me about scanstrut for the water tight seal
Thanks I just ordered mine
So it's been 6 months since you posted this how's it all holding up? I have a Robalo R222 and was thinking about doing the same.

Did you turn it off for the test run?😂
What model scanstrut did you use?
www.fishgulf2bay.com/home/our-equipment it’s a DS H something but I have it on my website at the bottom of the page under boating equipment
What size light bar is that?

Don't seem too bright. Can't see a thing.
