Life and career are full of advice, especially for rookie police officers. It can be difficult to distinguish where the golden nuggets lie. So in this video, we have cut through the noise and are hearing from some of the most impactful veteran police officers from across the country.
KEEP LEARNING! KEEP GROWING! And as my rookie school director said, "You're not better than anyone." However, you are stepping into a career like no other, so hold yourself to a higher standard.
    00:00 Introduction
    00:47 Be this...
03:18 Cut through the noise and remember why
07:40 Can be a hard pill to swallow
09:40 Do not gauge your success based on this...
    12:20 Obsess over this...
14:53 Use these or lose them.
I featured some of the officers' Instagram profile pages. Follow them.
THANK YOU TO EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE VETERAN OFFICERS FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THIS COLLABORATIVE VIDEO.

Been with my department for 5 1/2 years now. Policing became my personality the more I went above and beyond fulfilling multiple roles in my department. Due to some recent events I woke up to the fact that no matter what, it’s just a job and you’re replaceable. I‘ve been following you for years and your advice helps me create a better work-life-balance now. I am very grateful for what you do!! Thank you from Germany!
