Don't forget the tanker trucks of fire fluid ! Wonder how many gallons they use up per show? Most people in the US have no idea. This concert is on a new completely stratospheric level unseen in human history except for actual military events. Wooo!!
@@randyrobinson9113 you used the metric success, not record sales. Success can be defined in many ways. Kraftwerk single-handedly revolutionized music in the mid-1970s by bringing to life what we now call electronica. Thus, they have influenced and innovated a whole music genre that endures to this this day. Kraftwerk's influence is seen in music movements such as House Music, Hip Hop, R&B, Pop over five decades. That is significant. Much more successful and significant than Scorpion. Further Kraftwerk's music has always been about artistry, even when they were doing folk/hippy music, unlike Scorpion. It is my understanding that Falco is the most successful Austrian/German musical act in the modern era in terms of record sales in the U.S. and Europe.
People generally know Rammstein is from Germany. Most people have no idea Scorpions are. It is not typical for a band singing in a foreign language that isn't common in the US(ie not Spanish) to take off in such a big way in the US. Also, it is 22m+ for Rammstein. So few people know Scorpions are German that even the newscasters didn't know.
Rammstein stadium tour generate around $400 mill and still counting with over 4 million ticket sold and already sold 1 mill ticket for their upcoming europe tour. Wake me up when scorpion doing a stadium tour
It's an industrial metal band and not a Disney fairy tale. But the song "du riechst so gut" is almost completely green, so there is something for everybody haha
Half the European tour 2023 was sold out in less than an hour.
German tickets sold out in 10 minutes.
was waiting to see if the local news would cover the show :)
Awesome..welcome to the windy city
Good to have you in Chicago Rammstein.

It´s just propane gas, but a crap load of it.
“Most successful German band of all time”. Well, besides the Scorpions maybe.
Nein. Kraftwerk.
@@vanessak.allmon2894 The Scorpions have sold 110.000,000 albums world wide which is like 100,000,000 more than Kraftwerk.

Am impressive array of pyrotechnics, to an abysmal array of music.
