I love the interaction between funtime and Eclipse, Funtime being so friendly and adorable, then Eclipse just saying "Is there a gun so I can sho-" and then the video ending there is so charming
Whatever plans he had for Francine would have been involving her getting abused by him. Not just magically but mentally, physically, and emotionally. As we all know when Eclipse gets pissy with individuals that are childish, he abuses them in just about every way. He hits them, manipulates them, and breaks their spirit to make them feel like they are nothing. I'm sure Francine would have lashed back out if she was ever trapped like Lunar was with him, but still good she never had to experience it either.

I dont think anyone could really let Eclipse out even if they wanted to. The anti-magic barrier is designed to be hard/impossible to escape by Ruin.

Freddy wasn't feeling Eclipse being trapped for days. He was feeling Ruin likely getting into magic and creating this barrier that has trapped Eclipse in. That is if Ruin saying he'd be back in 10 to 15 minutes can even be believed. It's not strange for Ruin to be playing people. He enjoys being an actor, he can be acting good because he was aware what said to be a cure would get injected into him. Thank goodness, more and more that Moon is suspicious of Ruin!
