Episode 1 definitely introduced existential crisis, but episode 2 is on a whole nother level. A gummy or candy lizard or crocodile, thing as an NPC having an existential crisis. Now that's just amazing story plot. Usually episode 2 falls off from the pilot or episode 1, but so far I am really still digging this.

I honestly wasn't expecting him to even be able to pass through the portal, I thought it would've just had him thump up against it or something and get trapped in the kingdom during a monster attack. At Kaufmo’s funeral Pomni notices she’s surrounded by people who genuinely care for one another. You can see the moment on her face when she realizes she no longer has to suffer by her self anymore. Amazing character growth for Pomni and it’s only episode 2.

RIP Gummigoo, i really wish he could have stuck around for future episodes, I loved his personality and having an AI that's not used to all the video game shenanigans running around with the main cast would have been awesome. Loved this episode tho, can't wait to see more!

Man Gummigoo was a badass character hope he will appear in future episodes.
Jax was the BEST character in this episode! His lines were freaking awesome! Dude had me LMAO the whole time!😂😂😂 Seriously, Michael Kovach crushed it!
And, on a side note, we really need Gummigoo to return. I hope Caine just sent him back to the Candy Canyon Kingdom instead of killing him. He was just such a loveable Aussie crocodile, we really need this guy to return. Fingers crossed! 🤞 I don't know if Jack Hawkins (his VA) is Australian or not, but he sure as hell sounded like it!
Gummigoo went from being developed and happy when Pomni helped and talked to him, but then Caine comes in and says it’s time to end the story.

Gooseworx wasn't lying when she said this episode would be about depression.
Gummigoo having a existential crisis, learning his entire reality is fake.. the same reality Pomni was put through. It was so bittersweet how she was able to empathize with his suffering and help him find the good in his dilemma.
Sure, in his case the whole world is fake. However, the emotions you harbor, the bond you share between those you love, THOSE feelings are real. Pomni helping him in that sense was such a sisignificant development, especially how she was just like him.

The end pulled my heart strings also the dynamic with Pomi and Gummygoo is incredible loved the conversation they had.
Pomni is a good friend by understanding Gummigoo's pain. I love this episode even more than the first one, because of the new and unexpected things the characters say and do.
23:10 This moment you can see Jax becoming sad for just a second. It makes me think that there was someone who had a close bond with that abstracted in the past.

This episode of The Amazing Digital Circus was incredible! Not only by the animations incredible quality and the voice actors talent but also by the story itself. As someone who had think of suicide, the most common thought of mine was when I die people wouldn’t care about me or I’m just nothing and seeing Pomni realize that they care also seeing Gummygoo try to talk abaut the situation is one of the best treatments for these kind of mental illnesses. Thanks for Glith Productions and Gooseworks for taking such an important topic in this episode.

The fact that jax isn’t at the funeral scene makes me wonder a few things about his character, we’ve seen he’s always quite good with the flow and commanding but we’ve never seen him really having that existential crises thing like we have with everyone else. Interesting

23:10 I think this is the first time we see Jax show vulnerability, even if its just for a second. The implication that something bad happened to someone really close to him explains why he puts up such a brazen devil-may-care attitude. The dude's just hurting, and he doesn't want to show it nor to feel like that again, so he pretends like he doesn't care and acts like a jerk in order to keep people away. I hope this will get more built upon later on, because this is some really good groundwork for character development.

Holy hell that episode was incredible! I swear, if Caine decided to let gummigoo stay for a bit and then send him back to his world, I would’ve been so happy! Mad that he did that, though.
Jax is DEFINITELY the most bothered by the Abstracting. The only two times he stopped being snarky in episode one was talking about Kinger being 'crazy' and when Pomni was on the verge of an 'episode' after Ragatha talked about 'keeping distracted', and here, he went through a few expressions when Kofmo's abstraction 'funeral' came up, which he was the only one absent.
I think the idea of 'Abstracting' terrifies Jax even more than Pomni.

I think that's fair tbh. Jax seems very much like someone that deals with emotions through murdering NPCs. He's more of a sensationalist. An adventurer. He seems like the type of guy to be terrified of death.
Probably because he knows people would more likely throw a fiesta rather than a funeral after he's gone.

4:13 It's quite an interesting detail that Caine made the NPC'S in the Candy Kingdom see him as "God," but when it comes to the other NPC's they don't know who he is.
Also there is quite alot of biblical references that I wouldn't have picked up on if it weren't for MATPATS Film Theory video where he goes into more detail on this.
Also if you watched the Video by Matpat he says that POMNI is like Jesus (It makes 100% more sense if u watched the film theory) and in this Episode pomni trys to save someone: Gummy Goo, only for them to be destoryed.
It seems like Matpat might be on to something... It just sucks that hes gone. Would have loved a Film Theory, theory by him for Episode 2. Im sure the ones taking his place will do an exceptional job otherwise he wouldn't have chosen them to be his replacements.
Anywho beautifully animated episodes. Im so happy it came out earlier than expected. I though we would have to wait a year, since Murder Drones would go out first and than the second episodes but it lools like we got the second episode to The Amazing Digital circus before the next episode of murder drones.
i love that at 23:10, jax looks sad about remembering people who abstracted just for a brief moment. I can't wait to see Jax's development down the road
