This is loosely based on "Much Ado About Nothing." You'll notice that there are signs between scenes with unusual wording, which are actual lines from the play. I think the awkward dialogs said for Ben and Bea to overhear are based on the play also.
Can you please do Ariana eternal sunshine album reaction. Compared to her discography it’s all about happiness and id love to see your interpretation of it it’s beautiful.
@@Inthem0mentt I know, but her breaking it down on all the songs and their meanings I would love to see. But I wish I hated you is something I relate too and it’s my fav on the album
FYI...Glen Powell's (Ben) parents had a cameo in "Anyone But You". They were both on the airplane. His dad was the passenger snoring directly next to Ben & Bea when Bea was awkwardly reverse cowgirl riding Ben trying to get her shirt unsnagged from his seat. His mom was the female passenger across the aisle, who wakes up, takes off her sleep mask and catches them, but then smirks and puts her mask back on.
So happy to see you reviewing movies again. I enjoy your Buffy and music reactions, but I have missed your movie ones. Love when you did 'The Whale' and 'Cruel Intentions.' I had seen both of those movies, but this one I have yet to see. You are a very perceptive and keen analyst of whatever you are reviewing. Enjoying your reaction to 'Anyone But You.' But I will appreciate it much more when I eventually see the movie. Thank you.
Rom-coms are not my thing, but I watched this one because of Sydney Sweeney, and I loved it! Yeah, it's not very original, but it has some cute moments that make you smile, or emotional. I really enjoyed it.
Being a Shakespeare lover and "Much Ado about Nothing" being my favorite of the comedies, this movie kills my soul. I really love the relationship of Beatrice and Benedick because it is a battle of wits. For me, the best performance was seeing a proshot of David Tennant and Catherine Tate as the couple when they did the play. This is my opinion though
The best test of a great rom-com? How well you remember it years later. I still remember lots of scenes from movies like "The Graduate", "Annie Hall", and "What's Up, Doc?" Time will tell on this one.🤔
I feel like people are in their own little echo chambers. You saying that people are praising this is news to me. Most of the online stuff I’ve seen has slammed it as cringey. And a lot of people saying that S.S. didn’t really have the charm or funny chops in this. Now, I haven’t seen this and I probably won’t. I feel like the characters look kinda like yuppies to me. There’s a strange thing with actors where they have an inherent sensibility that either attracts people or discourages people to watch them. I haven’t seen the main actor in anything and I’ve only seen S.S in Everything Sucks and a little bit of Euphoria. For me, they just don’t come off as relatable or charming, which I think is really important in a rom com.
Glen Powell, the main actor, was Hang Man in "Top Gun: Maverick", which was the #2 top grossing movie in 2022. Does your echo chamber have limited access to the internet???
I feel like this is such a long shot but I’d kill for you to react to ‘Blonde’ by frank ocean it’s lyrically and sonically amazing😩😩😩

Lisa Frankenstein is a great new little horror romcom. I’d love to see your reaction
I really enjoyed this movie, but you reacting to it was even better. I loved the joy all over your face for this one.
I actually love it and the cherry on top was the beautiful w/w.

It's a divorce album so its not fully happy. I wish i hated you broke me for example

sydney sweeney absolutely kills it in this idc what anyone says she’s a great actress!!
She's amazing!
According to Elle magazine, this movie comes to Netflix in late April, so I will have to wait to watch this reaction until after then. 😥

Pretty middle of the road 5/10 film but it has some endearing moments. Can't hate on it, even though I doubt I'll ever rewatch.
Keep up the content!

I'm a fan of Shakespeare reimagined as a modern story. But I prefer Emma Thompson.
