- Hello everyone! Today is my birthday but instead of asking from you guys, I decided to make a compilation of some of Monster Jam’s most memorable leaps!! However if you did enjoy the video please make sure to drop a like and a comment on which jump was your favorite!
Credit to all the rightful owners.
4:25 Was HUGE. I went, got a drink and came back ......... it was still in the air!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hahahaha for real
I watched that one 3 or 4 times. biggest air i've ever seen
Hehehe funny
That guy is insane!
I was at the World Finals for that one. It felt like slow motion as everyone was rising higher out of their seat as the truck went higher. It was absolutely insane!
I just don't know how they afford the repairs and how every driver doesn't break his back. Total respect. It just unreal what they can do.
All those fans. Is how they afford it.
They sometimes do break their backs
@@ryanfowler3285 yeah, I know people who have broke their backs jumping a car like 3 feet high. Those trucks are 20 to 30 plus feet up. I've jumped dirt bikes 70 feet long and landed on the down slope of a tabletop. My friend landed on flat ground and broke his wrist and he wasn't close to as high as these truck are going.
They survive because of shock absorbers, they can be seen above the tires in the chassis. Just look at the size of them! And also I’ve been watching someone named Kevin Talbot who’s building his own truck and he pointed out that every seat must be perfectly fit to each driver by their preference
Also the inside is basically like a stock car in Nascar, watch any in cab to see how secured they are in there
You feel these engines rev in your chest like thunder. The power is inconceivable
You wold love top fuel dragsters or jet cars
@@r34persh3er5 these trucks are so loud that you need earplugs seating in the stadium
@@Tyriq_23 ik top fuel dragsters are monsters you feel it everywhere it make the ground shake it's insane and that make like 13000 hp
@@Tyriq_23 also I did not need ear plugs for monster jam
Lies again? Singapore American
This is just insane.....hats off to these drivers (and the crew that fixes the trucks)
And the deep pockets who pay for repairs..lol
And the surgeons that fix their backs
@@fattsthebavarian6104 they put heavy duty air seats in them to help cushion the blow when they land but you would think it still affects them somehow
Doesn't appear as if they can be repaired even
☮️
Your title is 100% accurate and NOT CLICK-BAIT. My back and neck hurt watching that - how bad must those landing be....crazy!!
That’s what this channel is! I hate click bait myself so why would I do it 😂😂 It truly is amazing how these guys just walk these things off!
4:25 was AWESOME!!! I could listen to that motor rev 100X and not get tired of it! Cleared half the arena in the air, totally in control too!!
Yup! My personal favorite as well!!
Definitely way cooler when it was in real life, the coolest thing I think I’ve seen
Definitely the coolest jump out of this compilation
Damn. That was so impressive!
That was freaking insane!
As much as I love seeing these jumps in general; I absolutely adore watching them get landed and they can continue going.
Every time I see this kind of stuff with these trucks it reminds me how far stuff has come,if you watch the first monster trucks they could barely drive over a car slow without breaking, now there40-50 feet in the air and jumping 3/4 the distance of the arena! Way cool!
I literally was thinking how far Monster trucks gave come since the original Bigfoot. They're AMAZING nowadays.
Truly amazing. I love them.
I think same stuff. The abuse and action all those parts get is incredible. I bet crazy fun too. Like 4:30, and imagine the driver inside
Yeah man , I was just thinking about how my dad was taking me to see tractor pulls when I was a kid and they had the early ones doing exhibitions during the breaks
Well the originals actually had some genuine "pick up truck " parts in them .
Now they are all custom built cage frames with high horsepower engines and fiberglass shells .
Not really monster trucks just monster racers.
Never seen this competition before! They do a hell of a job to keep their fans entertained with something bigger and better!
Ha
Theses dude getting like 500 yards for a head start then hit the jump is straight up crazy. I would love too see that
I know these trucks are amazing in their abilities of speed, agility, power and so forth but what has always impressed me is how well they protect the driver. They allow you to be actually LAUNCHED incredibly high and come down on your front end and be ok. You’d think it would crush your spine to land the way they land even when landing on all 4s.
Guys have crushed spines from jumping city streets in San Fran and R/R tracks. THIS is incredible..
@@justaguy4real the speed those street luge dudes get out there is asinine. As a Midwest guy, I’ve always envied anyone with true hills.
All in the tires
There have absolutely been injuries throughout Monster Truck history. But, everything is always improving. The only reason that the drivers can do these crazy things is due to how far safety has come over the years. I'm sure there's plenty of bruises, but they can just walk away from almost any gnarly crash now.
Long-travel suspension optimized for jumps plus containment seats with their own suspension.
Suspension sucks up everything just like a MX bike.
With all the advancements in monster jam tricks such as the Backflip and moonwalk, nothing beats just simply sending it.
100% Agree! Nothing better than when they don’t let off and just hit a jump full send. I remember seeing Avenger do it for the first time as a kid and my mind was blown lol.
2:29 Bro that was badass!!!!
I went to a monster truck show when I was real little. I forgot how cool this stuff was.
This is why I love America. So fricking badass!
It is amazing how 30 plus years ago they were crushing cars. Now it is who can destroy their ride the best.
I still feel like 2000s-2013ish was the golden age simply because it was where if you destroyed your truck you could keep going, now they shut you off if the slightest thing breaks
@@Cobra_427 I miss the days of Bigfoot style car crushing.
And there spine
Yeah back when the racing was legit and the trucks indipendantly owned
@@tibozino1671 their
4:25 winner. That’s a lot of hang time to air out those brass balls kudos
I agree, go to 4:34 exactly, freeze the frame and you’ll see how insane that was.
i dont care what anyone says, this is the pinnacle of human achievement right here
My dad and I used to go to these events all the time when I was a kid... It's strange the things you really miss.
Awesome as always ❤❤❤
That’s a very expensive habit. Really cool 😎
Maximum Destruction was my favourite. Despite having 6 to 500 hp less than Grave Digger and the others he was reckless, 200% all the time.
6:25
That jump must've been cool as hell to the driver. Probably feels like flying
This is cool and super fun and cool
Can't complaing about the sound of the V8 @ 5:19 .. a perfect reverb in the stadium.
Diehard fans know what exactly goes into making all these jumps and performances happen. Most of these drivers started as Mega Truck drivers. ALL skill, technique and experience.
Dennis, Tom, Bob, ect., all childhood icons and heroes of mine. Awesome stuff!
Wow just Wow. The Air time is just amazing 😀
Driver: how much will insurance cost?
State Farm: YES!
That was the funnest video I've ever seen on RUclips thank you very much
the dam energy of the crowd makes you wanna go to a monster match some day 🇺🇲🇺🇲 Merica baby
It’s pretty cool to see these shows still packed. I’ve never been to one but it was popular back then, didn’t know it still kinda was.
It’s more popular than ever , it’s really fun if you get a chance don’t pass it up
@@johnscanlon2598 hell yeah. I’ll definitely have to check it out
You posted this on your birthday in 2021 and you're still making bank from it. Legend. 🤘🤘
Honestly, who has more fun than these guys :) ??!
Even with all the safety equipment, nose-diving from those heights absolutely has to hurt!
That was great! Hadn't seen monster truck anything in years. Can't believe how much they've improved. So much more air! Wow!
Pure Joy that is.
How these dudes survive some.of these crashes is incredible. I mean back n neck problems must plague these drivers
Yes and yes
Grave digger was always my favorite since i was a kid that truck is snazzy always seems to put on a good show. Huge jumps by other drivers here also amazing ! I love how the rumble at these shows makes your guts shake from in the stands haha i bet these drivers love their jobs
They look like toy trucks..this is cool
Let’s not forget these are 10,000 pound trucks flying that far and high
One of those things you don't quite understand until you've seen it in person... a massive truck flying across nearly your entire field of vision. Only then do you comprehend just how high and far these things are flying.
Glad to see Jim Koehler in the Avenger getting his credit. That man is just as insane as Meents and Anderson!
Something about monster trucks that just makes me smile.
Awesome footage, Fast and totally furious! (It look like “The Rock” might have been driving on the them trucks during shooting a film. Thanks for sharing!
I still can't get over how amazing that transfer ramp was in San Antonio 2018. That thing was shooting those guys!
Really awesome. I remeber when just running over cars was the hot lick. Lol.
Monster trucks don’t run on gasoline. They run on testosterone!👊🏼💪🏼😎
All jokes aside, they run on alcohol injection. Methanol.
@@MacSmithvox …and testosterone.😎🤙🏼
@@jakeclayson7647 yes sir!
I haven't watched these in decades, WOW.
Watching this shows me how fast time has gone by. I went to one of these forty years ago. Had a lot of fun.
It's just amazing what these trucks can take and still keep going
That is pure AWESOME! LOVE IT! Thank you for this!
Monster trucks never get old ❤
In America, boyhood is not complete without a monster truck show
I remember the first time going to a monster jam event in like 2010 it was so much fun.
Those magnificent men in their flying machines !
It’s always Jim doing some crazy shi 😂
0:05 landed upside-down and still ready to keep going hahaha.
0:15 What it must be like behind that steering wheel is inconceivable!!! The landing bounce might've been more gnarly than three jump itself.
0:32 the abuse those parts/trucks ensure and still very often survives. Wow
0:42 and they keep getting better, i just can't keep up
These guys don’t have back problems at all!! 😂
Very cool!! This drivers are Nuts!!!
Dude in the Monster SUV is badass driver.
This is so freaking insane. I love it.
Some of those landings had to be so painful
But also profitable.....for the back surgeon
IMO Monster has always been the most sturdy truck
We've gotten much more daring
& exciting over the past 10 years.
God bless, Mechanics & Alcohol.
I'll never forget seeing 0:40 on TV saying to myself holy shit that guys goin to the moon lmao
0:54 my fav jump! And 4:25! Also, 0:15!
0:54 Monster Mutt. Driven by cute girls too!
Ive taken my kids to a couple Anahaim monster jam events which have been awesome! Already got our tickets to the world finals in inglewood for May, cannot wait! From what Ive seen on youtube, the world finals take it to another level and all the trucks are there as well
Seen one of these happen in Prince George years ago it was the craziest experience I had the worst head ache I’m talking having to sit down when walking through stores and throwing up when I went to the bathroom or on the road but then we went to one of these my head ache was 3x worse but 1000X worth every second of the pain watching stuff like this.
4:30 I was litteraly watching these world finals on my tv and when that massive air happened I almost fell out of my chair 😄
These clips are just SO f***ing badass what the actual f***. UGHHH like LOOOK at them from the build up to the jump to the actual jumps to the engines f***ing roaring. gosh i so wanna drive a monster truck of my own one day. maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but some day.
This is such a dangerous entertainment. But the drivers do so well the pay for this “job” is so worth it.
That’s if you wanna risk braking your back.
sign me up 🤘
the most fascinating thing to me about these trucks is the suspense. The suspension in these trucks have so much travel and compression. Granted the tires help cushion the landing but it's amazing how high the jump when landing and there ability to keep going is amazing
The jump at 4:36 was the most insane thing ive ever seen
And it landed without any tire falling out
This video dope!!!🔥🔥🔥 Great compilation!!!
serious skills and a lot of luck!!!!!!!!!!!!
God damn when did monster trucks get this lit?
My brain knows these trucks weigh thousands of pounds, but they bounce like toys?! It's insane!
Because the drivers control the shocks, which the shocks allows the truck to land safely, I believe the air in the tires must be really dense. Thus allowing bouncing to occur.
@@prehistoricwildlife5175 They have purpose built massive monster truck shocks that are hydraulically controlled and have 30+ inches of shock travel, as well as the massive 66 inch tall tires which have pretty low psi at around 10 psi which helps soften the landing
@@Cynsham it's actually around 22 psi but you we're close brother and the shocks contain nitrogen to help keep pressure during hard landings
@@Cynsham Are they zoned bypass shocks? I'm guessing they are the same as used on trophy trucks, just with more units to handle the added weight.
@@prehistoricwildlife5175 🤓
I’m just kidding :)
Wow I thought this sport died off but I’m glad to see many people still enjoying it
These trucks are so well built!
4:30 He jumped over a 100 ft...Probably more. The world record is 240 foot jump by Joe Sylvester in Bad Habit.
Joes jump was 240 feet long. How high he got I’m not sure but the jump in this video is 100% higher than Joes.
Really great, appreciated to all participants congratulations 👍
A whole new meaning to "SPACE JAM"
Don’t know if people remember but the maximum destruction and grave digger rivalry made for some badass competitions Dennis and Tom were my childhood
Best monster truck video i have ever seen iml
Grave Digger Overboard and Missouri Wonky Bigfoot were always my favorite
1:07 HOLY SHIT lol. Yea that was bout same reaction I had when I first saw it years ago.
This has got to be an extremely expensive sport!!!
I assume it is🧐🧐
That Monester Energy truck driver looks to be on an another level.
Amazing to see these bigo trucks go up so high as they were rc cars
Imagine what the driver is feeling
I can just hear the back surgeon's rubbing their surgical gloves together right now
@@jakez5227 ahahahah lol
@@jakez5227 ronnie coleman got 10 spinal surgeries. He only had success after he went down to mexico to get stem cell therapy.
Our medical industry is hella corrupt.
I hope they can't feel it. Can't believe they're still alive.
Part of the fun of this video is hearing the people in the crowd lose their shit over it, lol
1:06 Holyyyyyyyy sh!!!!!!!!!t !
Dude is a Legend .
In the 80's it was who had bigger tires, more chrome an kc lights. Loved it then, but love what it's become!
Back in my day when Big Foot got the big air of about 6 feet there were a million disposable camera flashes in the seats across from me. Ah yes, good times.
It is actually kinda weird watching these without the hundreds of flashes every time they catch air.
I was there the first night Bear Foot drove over two busses in Florida! We've come a long way since then.
Miss the good ol' days of gravedigger vs goldberg. 😁
Best jump i've ever seen, Grave digger, Dennis Anderson , minneapolis 2016.
🤘Hell to the Fk yeah🤘
Imagine hangtime and just ballsy jumps!!
That's having fun!!!! Lol
Respect!!
I like how a lot of these are guys who come straight outta the gate with their biggest and sometimes only jump for their turn. If I was sure it wouldn't kill me I'd try that too lol
I wish they had an inside cab camera.
Some of the trucks do but you never see this kind of footage from them
Watch V2 Vids there are a lot of good cab videos there
Bless the person who recorded this correctly, and not filming in vertical or that stupid iPhone mode
Tom Meents lives at the end of our mile and he has a full track and a school to teach drivers and I am in heaven we can see them cop serious air and the sound is awesome
Wonder how they try explaining to their chiropractor why their backs are out of alignment?
you couldn't possibly align all of those shards which used to be vertebrae
