- Hearts travelled to Ibrox as league leaders and their fans filled the Broomloan Rear. Robert Fleck scored after 30 minutes and although Mike Galloway scored a stunning goal, a Craig Levein own goal gave Rangers a half-time lead. Hearts piled on the pressure in the second half and after Galloway had tried to better his earlier goal with a flying volley, John Robertson equalised with a close range header. A composed finish from Ian Durrant gave Rangers the win.
Remember it well. I was in the Broomloan Upper. Great game... both teams played well, although Hearts were a bit unlucky / suicidal.
great match.
Some finish from Ian Durrant for the winner.

When you say Hearts lost out on goal difference on last day of season, you mean the 1986 title, when they lost at Dens park?
That ref was defo in some orange lodge
The more things change the more they stay the same eh? The Ref won't let the physio on to treat an opposition player in the Weej and a stonewall penalty denied also. Scottish Referees, nudging the Ugly Sisters on to victory since time began. I f*cking hate Glasgow and the Scottish Football "Establishment"
He was defo a mason or a member of some orange lodge that ref
