Awesome to see. This is going to be amazing. I fly one of the first TSIs off the production line at the factory. ZU LIP. An amazing aircraft. You will have many hours of great fun in this aircraft. Enjoy the ride!
I just ordered the quick build kit as well. I appreciate you sharing this video. It gives me an idea of what to expect. It looks like a lot of the plane is complete. This sounds great and all. I am some what regretting that I ordered the quick build option. Not because of the expense, but because sooo much is already complete. I enjoy building things and half of my airplane / flying experience is around the actual assembly. I hope I enjoy flying it as much as I will enjoy putting it together
The Australian and the US QB kits are very different, Mike. Ours won’t have any of the empennage done, won’t have the ailerons or the flaps done, won’t have the fuel tank attached to the wings, and won’t have the fuselage up on the wheels. Also, we don’t get to keep the container for any amount of time - it stays on the back of the truck, we have a few hours to unload, and then the truck and container are gone!
That's awesome! I'm going over to Brisbane to fly one for the first time in a week and that's got me super excited so I can only imagine how much more excited you must be
Welcome to the Sling family! I'm over at FirstRivet if you haven't stumbled across me there. Best of luck in the journey! You're starting pretty much mid-build with the quick build kit. :D
Bravo.Thenks. Go ahead

Awsome feeling
I want to build one in the near future
Cant wait to see when you are done building it
It's hard to juggle work, the build and trying to get video online, but I'll try to keep going as I wished I had more info before I started!

I wouldn't stress, there's still HEAPS of work to do!

Let us know what you think or if you are building your own Airplane please leave a link so we can see your progress too!
Looks like you won’t have to install the elevator on tbis one😂
🤣 ground floor?
Lucky - we have to build the elevator on the US QB kits *and* install them! Luckily, I used to work at an elevator company…

Nice one. Are you in WA? I'm planning on starting building one in the next few years. Will be from scratch.
