I invested in several cannabis ETFs such as MSOS, CNBS, YOLO and POTX. I also investested in IIPR (a REIT - Real Estate Investment Trust for cannabis businesses). This gives you exposure to many different companies. This way you're investing in something more like an index of the cannabis industry, and you're not wasting hundreds of hours researching each individual company.

ETF is for someone who has no idea where to invest in individual companies. Individual companies are more preferable than ETF

I’m wondering if it does goes through and if the federal government now recognizes the medical benefits and if a dot driver gets it prescribed if we would be good to go and of course not use it while driving

Most likely not. There are plenty of prescriptions that can disqualify you as well as medical conditions. Federally legal doesn't automatically mean okay for dot drivers. Alcohol is legal but you can get tested and fired for having drank it even if you're sober while driving and can blow a 0.0 breathalyzer.

How likely is one to pass a hair follicle test 13 months after last drug use? Lets say body hair is being used here. Just curious, as I've heard body hair retains drug traces longer.

Hello there Doc I have an off topic question. I work as a chef in a restaurant but want to get my cdl class A license just to have it as a back up. Will I still be random drug tested by the FMCSA or DOT even though I am not working a cdl or safety sensitive position??? I would just be a chef with a class A license
