    Now this is a parent who can say 100% that she has and still is dedicated/ing her whole LIFE as a mother to her children, not just preparing to leave the nest and off to collage/uni or into fulltime work which is how "normal family life" goes.. she is caring for every single need (×4) for each child as theyre needs will all be different and handled differently. She has learnt herself on how to avoid meltdowns and changed what is "normal" to us, into what is normall for her to avoid meltdowns and fighting all the time.. She has to protect her mental health too though and a bedroom to herself will be a great start. My goodness, she is doing AMAZING! Well done mama x

    I'm on the spectrum and am functioning relatively alright, though with some similar challenges to these gentlemen. It's fascinating to see how the same neurodivergance can effect people so differently and similarly.

      ASD is a very individualized disorder and I think this family really shows some of the different challenges people with Autism can have even within the same family. I love how the mom recognizes each child has different strengths and challenges and adjusts her expectations accordingly. I also love how she knows how to encourage positive behavior in her kids and reduce meltdowns and anxiety.
      She reminds me a lot of my best friend. Both her children are diagnosed with ASD. She has two boys. She handles them a lot like this mom does, though she has the benefit of having a husband who is supportive.

    Wonderful mother!!!! It’s definitely possible for all 4 to have their own lives and still be happy. I definitely respect this mother for recognizing her responsibility but she does deserve her own happiness.

    I wish I could talk to this wonderful Mother. I am so much like you! I don’t want outside interference when it comes to my son. He is 8 nonverbal with autism and I have a neurotypical 24 year old daughter. My husband and I love our children so much and I want to be with my son till I pass on. I didn’t even want my daughter to move out lol.

    She probably smoked cannabis when she was pregnant. Judging by the decor.

      @@lydiai7691 If there was evidence which showed that smoking canabis while pregnant increased the chance of the child having mental illness would you still make that comment? I don't mean any disrespect by asking that.

    • @lydiai7691
      @lydiai7691 2 года назад +7

      @@roddywishart4613 you are assuming she smoked whilst pregnant. literally at no point in the video does anyone suggest that. you just took one look at her and her home and made an ignorant comment.

    • @roddywishart4613
      @roddywishart4613 2 года назад

      @@lydiai7691 Right I just want to try and understand where you're coming from. Are you saying she didn't smoke cannabis when she was pregnant, or, if she did it's not a bad thing?
      If it helps you I'll clarify my position. I would say going by the number of Bob Marley images, some of which contain cannabis leaves, I would say there's a significantly above average chance that she herself smokes cannabis. Whether she continued to do so whilst pregnant is not something anyone can prove one way or the other just off the back of this video. But you would have to agree that the chances are higher in this case than if she had would generally be considered a "normal" looking house. The third question is: if she smoked cannabis whilst pregnant, did it contribute to the autism all three of her children have. Again, given how unusual autism is, and how little it is understood, it's impossible to say whether or not this was a contributing factor.
      I can't prove she smoked cannabis when she was pregnant, but to me it looks like she smoked cannabis whilst pregnant, which caused her children to become damaged beyond repair before they'd even started life. And there is a huge push to legalise this drug which no-one can deny in some cases can cause huge psychological damage. Any woman who smokes cannabis whilst pregnant should be jailed.
