Love it! I hatched 100 eggs out in my basement one year when the kids were young. I knew nothing about chickens. Since I didn’t know what I was doing, I thought maybe 5 or ten eggs would make it. 100 chicks. I had to scramble back to the man at the feed store to find them homes.The kids were in chick heaven for a week, though.😊

@@LifeOnTheRidge Poor little chicken! I'll be hatching some chicks for the first time next year so I'm sure I'll encounter that as well. I have Silkies, though, and they are brooding often. I'm considering letting the hens hatch them naturally and also using the incubator to see the differences
