@@lapisincognito i have painted my shoes with acrylics but mine are canvas shoes u can use fabric too and give finishing touch with waterproof shiner spray hope this helps ;))

@@lapisincognito yes it will break if u dont use gesso glue(u can use any type of glue that makes fabric harder) 1st give coating of gesso glue it makes the fabric of shoe harder and tighter when the glue dries u can paint on it😊
I would suggest you use Acrylic Leather Paint (you have the link for it in my videos). Always make sure to apply 2-3 thin coats to get the best result. The thing at the end is called Acrylic Finisher. I use a Matte Acrylic Finisher. It's best to get a starter kit and you're ready to paint and if you don't know exactly how, you can learn it on my videos or others. Hope this helped.
