Boston Harbor BOAT TOUR!

We took a one hour Boston Harbor boat tour with City Tours, located on Long Wharf in Boston, right between the Marriott Long Wharf and the New England Aquarium. There are two indoor decks. The lower indoor deck has a snack bar. There are restrooms on board. Our tour was on a bright & sunny, but very windy & cold day. The tour narration provided by our guide, Kevin, was amazing! We learned so much about Boston. We paid about $120 total for our three tickets. City Tours also provides the boats for whale watching tours, which leave from the same place, but travel out farther into the ocean. The New England Aquarium provides the naturalists that go along on those tours.

We loved learning a bit about Boston - and an Edgar Allan Poe connection! I don't remember ever seeing a lightship before. That is very cool. We enjoyed coming along for the ride!

It's a lovely city with so much interesting history. When we were there when my older two kids were little, we focused on the Freedom Trail, Old Ironsides, etc. My son thinks he would like to stay in that area to live after he finishes law school.
