The game is a lot better now but PVP by far is the worst part of this game hands down 3v3 Rush nothing but bows and muskets takes the fun right out of it waste of time they need to implement custom matches and have all the bow musket players play together also we need to Nerf the bowl and muskets definitely

Better in since Drop? YES. But there is so many things needing tuning. Range is literally the Gods and Armor for Medium and Heavy need to have a Super buff since chasing down any type of Good Meta Range isnt ever going to be good. Even IF you are in hand to hand Combative range. Melle relies on a Healer or using Hatchets to even Sustain a decent Lifespan
@@lundy1020 meh. Some games have more ranged than others. If your melee you'll obviously complain about the ranged no matter how many there are.

Hey there! thanks for the video i am a returning player and i had a quick question. Is there something i am missing with Constitution? I am currently level 60 with 173 Con and I only have 10262 HP but when you were out of the arena you only had 115 Con but had 10561 HP. Is there something i am missing? I dont understand why i have less health than you when i have roughly 50 more points in Con than you do. Thank you for any response!
He used con food :) which applied a 40 point buff for 60 mins
@@Dsypher I don’t mean during the arena. If you check at the end of the video is when I am talking about when he is out of the arena. Attribute food stats still show up in the attribute menu when eaten. So if he had food applied then his 115 would have been 155 shown, which is still lower than my 173. My only logical guess is he has some increased hp% jewelry on. If I had to guess
@@Kaldrean health perk on amulet and higher armor bonus health from med armor with the 100 con bonus
@@Kaldrean Exactly as the guy says. Something like 9.8% health from jewelry plus the con perk that increases hp based on physical resist. He probably has more resist than you therefore gets more hp out of it.

i dont get the need for using consumables... they should just make it so everyone gets the buffs without having to use a consumable before the match. and if u can use a potion constantly throughout the fight, the regen should just be automatic without having to use potions...
New world is really bad at encouraging new players to participate. There should be a balanced pvp mode and ranked where gear matters. Destiny does this well
Man, I've been playing Bow and GS 150 CON + Full DEX. But I don't deal the dmg I take from other archers, for example... For some reason even tho I went all out on DMG ppl outdmg me SO HARD and I don't know why. I've been using high GS bought gear (not named) but I didn't get 600 expertise yet. My gear has resilient and physical aversion all around, been using Onyx for defensive gems and converting dmg to elemental on the offensive ones. can you help me understand why I don't deal dmg? Is it my Expertise?
kinda experiencing the same thing with close range combat. not sury why tho, got decent gear and setup, but input / output damage just dont make sense.
You're converting damage to elemental while being full dex build? That gem says it all in description, quote "damage converted scales based on INT" INT means intellect. So if you're converting 40% damage to elemental, your dex bonuses only apply to the remaining 60% and your intellect applies to 40%. If you have no intellect, that 40% will be much lower than it would if it weren't converted. Used to be bugged and didn't work, but now it works properly and you're losing huge chunks of damage.

They are barely buffing heavy armor, the cancerous dex meta (for everything but wars) will persist. It literally looks like storm trooper gun fight in OPR. If you are in heavy or heavy melee you need a healer or ur just f’ed. I used to hate the WH GA cc meta but I would take it back a hundred times over instead of this extremely annoying dex meta.
The good thing is meta's always shift!
Heavy and medium have the same dodge only stamina cost is different and next patch heavy dodge will go futher than medium after a melee attack.

@@Hazaray6 I’m heavy IG VG it seems like they are helping melee more than heavy armor. I was looking forward to some more survivability, it will be nice to not be slowed so much, seems like I’m constantly slowed and in heavy armor it’s a death sentence
I’m just tired of the aim bots in OPR. I’m okay with being hit in the head through bushes really far away but when it happens 3-5 times in a row it’s kinda stupid.
Whats with incense? I thought that was only for pve...
it is, it only increases corruption resistance (like for portals) and such - i dont see why it is useful in pvp ?!
i have been informed that incense doesnt do anything in pvp
Gear carry
Pick a ranged weapon. Use Rapier next to it. Spam basic attack and evade. Run like hell if someone gets close. This is enough in this ranged meta.
I haven't done any PVP. I'm only level 19. I just bought the game. Is there any healing at all in the PVP meta or is that non-existent? From watching this video it looks like they should redesign the arena to make it not as ranged op. Maybe make there be some buildings or something more ways to break line of sight
People crying about ranged weapons is stupid when you are horny for 2 melee weapons so you can press 6 melee abilities and nuke ppl down in 2 seconds.
Get a melee and a ranged. If people run away you can shoot em. If you close in you can melee

No, pvp gear tends to have pvp specific perks that are overturned. Basically run OPR and get demolished until you get a few pieces then in open world you can kill most people easy.
Pvp is odd for this game the steam achievement say that barely 10% of the pop has ever pvp'd these videos pop up but it just isn't working , also mmorpg players are getting older. Pvp has to offer , you cannot go without this type of rewards. New world has to make players actually feel like they are losing when they don't pvp. Sure you'll get a lot of people that will just stand there and not care if you kill them or underwear players entering arena to feed the hard-core pvper which is a dying breed in mmorpg. I personally when I see these videos think it's the law of large numbers if you keep trying to convince people to pvp you'll eventually get som3 fresh meat here and there and faster opr pops. The main thing that turns me off is the scoring system I can literally just stand in the corner of an opr bashing on someone that is getting consist heals and be determined the winner and everyone else sucks for trying hard
Pvp in MMOs has been dying because of the internet and the communities. First the communities tend to ruin it for anyone trying to improve well the internet for all games determines the BIS that everyone will run. Aka don’t run bis run the next best if you want to optimize and yell save 90% to 99% of your money and resources to people who care about minute differences

Light and medium much stronger then heavy in 3v3 arena by a large margin.

They aren’t nerfing light or medium gear at all. Range light armor dex players sitting up on rocks will remain the meta and it’s super annoying for everyone.

I don’t like having to take so many consumables (and now more next patch) to be competitive but at least in arenas it’s free and everyone is using the same buffs so it’s not a big deal.
You could just not play it .. My friends still play wow. I talk shit to them about that game. But at the end of the day I just don't play it. I'm not some angry psychopath like you.
I do think arena should not allow food and other tiny buffs m it makes it less fun and adds a layer of actions that in the end is pointless to basically force. It’s one thing for bigger battles but arena should not have these

I'd rather give the game a chance to correct their mistakes instead of twiddle my fingers until the next copium project, whether it be AOC or Riot MMO. Worst case scenario we get some good short term fun.
