    Great information.
I also need time to relax after a trip.
A friend compared traveling as getting a "high " addiction...the rest period is the detox stage.
During traveling, anxiety and stress in planning adds to the build up.

I agree with the analogy you mentioned. For some people, travel can feel like an intense addiction, and just like any high, it often requires a period of rest afterward to detox and recharge.

Thanlk you for your insights. I think not many people (like me) know about the other side of planning. All the efforts it takes when one becomes a full-time traveler. When i go on holiday i spend a lot of time researching, reading and analyzing. Almost to the extent of driving me crazy 😅. If i ever decide to travel the world im definitely following your advice.

I agree; travel planning can be exhausting.

I always worked when I traveled. You have 5-6 weeks of vacation in Denmark

Employees in Europe typically receive significantly more vacation days than workers in the United States.

I guess the hotel owner got so excited because she was going to earn more money. And she really enjoyed having you stay so long.

She is very friebdly and loves having a conversation while enjoying coffee most afternoons.
