Recon's gotta be my favorite assassin character in this game. It's not the greatest for every situation but when it works, the dopamine rush you get is unmatched by any other character I've played so far. I was fighting this one dude as Recon and he was some other character I can't remember. Whoever the character was, though, it was one that could beat me consistently. It was a losing battle for me; he had more health and had a matchup advantage. Then he made the mistake of running for the health cube close by. It was still on cooldown but he wanted to be ready for it. So what I did was place a bomb on its spawn point and detonate it. The guy picked up the cube but couldn't heal enough health. When that bomb went off, it decimated him instantly. I don't think I've ever dealt so much damage in a single attack. I was so hyped up I couldn't sit still in my seat for the rest of the match. It was awesome.
Really enjoying this series so far and hope to see more of this! Overall, Assassin is pretty good, though i rarely use classes from this category as im more of a rusher kind of a person. Like most of the people (probrably), Dancer is definitely the best assassin class. It's true that it takes a good amount of practice, but once mastering it, it's pretty much invulnurable for the whole lobby. Not to even mention that you can just swiftly navigate around the map and great for hunting down runners. Although, since i dont play this class a lot, thief and stalker are just pretty much my go to. Also, i absolutely agree with what you said about Gambler lol.
Lets hope the Hitbox gets a lot better yet Csv5 has more decent capability but ofc it will never and Never have the Update. Dancer is the only class I still need to practice every now and then. Overall thank you for the Type Overview
Thief is pretty nice, his f move is really rewarding for it's hard aim. However, i see some players often cry about his lifesteal ability, and tbh i also think that it has no point of being there. It's impact can be massive, but even tho i am not that good at him, i do think that lifesteal isn't needed. Recon is massive skill for massive reward. Overall ballanced. Ninja is weird...i don't really know anything to say about him. Stalk is stupid. 50% of the time invis, an ability to deal 50% missing hp in an INSTANT in his MAIN RANGE (+ if you play valk, you CANNOT block it, cuz before it there is the petty 10 damage). I despise this class. Trickster is just anoying, but at the same time not really op. Idk what to say either. Hitman is cool ig. Not much to say. Gambler sucks. Imo if his lmb should not cost money to fire and q possibly not deal any damage to the player. Dancer should get a mobilty nerf from its moves. I am TIRED of seing dancers run to the other side of the map after they get to half hp.
Recon is bad because the probability of you landing the q and e move is minimal and almost impossible, not to mention the F move is completely useless compare to the old recon’s F move since u lose the stealth when you are tack and even if you use it to run away it’s still a bad option because of the mechanic of appearing some shadows when you are stealthed, overall recon is a terrible class and the old version is definitely better and worth-using.
@@drec_is_here5229 my point being that recon has a move that is completely useless and doesn’t fit with the class and it’s the F move, it does nothing since there is a mechanic where it will show where you are if you use it long enough, which makes the F move itself loses its purpose
Yes i do understand but its mostly used for quick thinking situation that requires suprising them even if the after frames reveal your location, it only has 2 leaping mechanic 1 with specific shotgun aim and a bomb. Recon do excel in a small area example would be Final Strike where the zone is too small. Recon is something you abuse to hide similar to Ghost yet still reveals its location. Stalker's is very abusive as well but requires you to go up close most of the time Recon is a lot harder in Shiftlock than it is in mouse lock this way you can propel yourself to the enemies. The only thing good about Recon's Invisibility is That the ability is always ready as long as you don't fully drain it, compared to Hitman, Ghost, Trickster and Stalker, they have Cooldowns and shorter Invisibility durations, to balance its purpose recon's invisibility will do get after frames which was implement on Hitman During Critical Strike V3. Recon is just decent that requires zone timing you can abuse the leap Spread shot the way you want to aim while also placing a bomb that they don't expect to be in during the explosion. It can be countered as long as you learn how the gimmicks will act and fight

You might try recon in CSv5 in mouselock just so you have the glimpse of why it acts better that way
