instead of cutting the cord and extending it which may cause the warranty to be voided use an extension cord or extend the power supply by connecting wires to the back of the main outlet and use conduit wire pipes and connect it to the newly installed outlet that's high enough to reach the wall fan plug

Voiding my warranty would be the least of my concerns, you stand a good chance of starting a FIRE!!!!! If your going to splice a wire with electrical tape ----- at least stagger your splice---- at the Very Least!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All you used for your wire connections was tape? No butt- splice crimps or even solder?.........Do I smell something burning? Now thats safe!!! Just sayin'

Ideally yes but the wall in the video is all concrete so doesn't really matter where i drilled.
@@HanDIYman007 Thank you! Unfortunately my wall is not concrete. Very helpful video!
@@tsoftbone you can use expansion drywall screws instead to mount your wall fan. With these, you won't be at the mercy of where your studs are.

Thanks for the tip
No problem!
No soldering or shrink wrap? Just tape on that splice, then hide it behind some trim? No way!! That’s definitely not up to code! 😂
Tamsak na po
Doesnt look like the same gauge wires. Be careful of house fires if installed incorrectly.

Why? Is a staggered splice the only splice you know? What about a rattail joint? Do you know the pros and cons of each?

there are many ways to connect 2 wires. one of the cheapest and sturdiest is old-school electrical tape. nothing fancy.
