Then, when it kicks in again during the Siege of Viana, it feels like true vengeance. I felt the same with "Trouble in Town", except it depicts Connor's determination instead of vengeance. Like, when it comes up when Connor chases Lee, you know poor old Charlie won't go far... and he knew it.
I swear this is the only game where If somehow I got surrounded by dozens of enemies, I wouldn't run even if it kills me. Any other Assassin's Creed and I would just run away and hide/blend, but Connor is such freaking tank that I'd always wanted to stand and fight with him. 🔥🔥🔥

I didn't play these games in order but this was the first AC that made me think that maybe the Templars aren't really bad guys. They were just trying to maintain order during a war. Who knows, maybe Connor's tribe would have been better off under the Templars. Haytham tried to reason with Connor and Charles Lee seemed to genuinely care about Haytham as a friend and mentor.
I wish the remaster hadn't made it way easier to keep up with Lee, a big part of the experience was the determination to stay on his tail and catch him, now the music has less meaning.

When Connor shaves his head after Haytham's death you know he's not playing around anymore.
by killing haytham it made connor even angry the fact that he there blames charles why his father also died is because of him.
