For guessing: Before the test decide which answer (A, B, C, D) you're going to guess for problems you don't have an educated guess for. Each of the 4 answers have an even distribution, so none will have a higher chance of being correct. This means you want to select the same guessed answer throughout to eliminate unlucky variance. The idea is guessing should guarantee the 25% chance of being correct as much as possible and eliminate luck (you don't want to find yourself on the unlucky end of that and it be the difference in you passing or not). Also when guessing, sanity check the answers and try to eliminate crazy answers to improve your chances. Sometimes the answer is so off from what the answer should be, you know it's not that.
