What I liked about Ryuki is that it's not just about the main character. Both he and his rival both grew as people because they each had a quality the other was missing and they learned from each other as the series progressed.
It may not have been my favourite series, but it had its moments and it's not one that I would want to forget... except if it would allow me to see all the cool moments for the first time all over again.
