id like to note that as someone with severe psoriasis, they most likely used an oil to soften the scalp so removal can be easier. i have to do this quite often and the oil helps a lot and the flakes end up large like in the video

I have psoriasis around my eye brows, nose area. I have tried everything and finally found something that works for me. This is NOT and advertisement, I bought some Mary Kay ( as a man I was not excited about Mary Kay) BUT it works. It is called ( EXTRA EMOLLIENT NIGHT CREAM ), I put it on every time I see it starting to flair up. Give it a try. It cost me $16 a tube.

It’s real. Psoriasis dandruff. Google it. Not the same as regular dry scalp dandruff. Normal scalp creates new skin layers once a month which sloughs off in small unnoticeable pieces (creating dust around your bed). Psoriasis causes the scalp to over-reproduce every one or two days, and the associated scalp oil (notice their shiny forehead) causes the dead skin to clump together into these large flakes that stick to the hair, thus needing to be combed out every other day or so. That’s why you see the same guys over and over. Unfortunately, this condition is more prevalent in Asian people, but can afflict anybody. It’s not caused by poor hygiene.

Psoriasis causes caked on scales that regrow every couple of days. They dont easily come off. You have to soak your scalp in oil and do this daily to avoid pain. It also shows up on other areas of the body too.. the scalp is usually the worst spot for it to grow though. I have psoriasis but mine isn’t usually this bad. The plaques I get on my scalp are in smaller patches. And I occasionally get these patches on my face, hands, feet , legs and stomach

The person in the video appears to have had a treatment done to soften and loosen the flakes prior to removal. Plus, it isn't psoriasis, it's seborrheic dermatitis- dead skin building up and sticking together, basically. It isn't attached to the scalp, but it stays in place because of the hairs so close together holding all of the little pieces together to form large flakes. It is absolutely real and no actual attachment to the skin means there's no reason why it would be bleeding.
